Thank you so much for your advice and compliments! You are great!
About my header, I change it quite often and this one was telling people I was participating in a charity bike ride this weekend as I thought it would convey my interest in fitness. Since I did it today I was planning to change my header, which I have done.
I removed the photos as you suggested and do plan to take some more body shots.
Fixed the text.
What a trooper you are doing these on Sunday!

Through the fog and blurriness that is your photo spread, I can see that there is a beautiful girl in there but c'mon...you know they are terrible photos. Complete DO OVER!
Stay away from the cheesy shots of your bodacious ta tas. Not going to get the right man doing that. I promise you.
Don't tell the world you are a mother. None of their damn business...yet. And certainly don't talk about wanting more children yet. You'll scare all the guys away. These things can be shared after to get to talking online or move to the telephone. DON'T BROADCAST YOUR BUSINESS HERE IN YOUR PROFILE!

I have dated nothing but dogs and I am ready to meet some real men who are ready for a commitment. I am not getting any younger and life is to short to play games.
Your header references dogs too doesn't it? That needs some softening as well.
If you are really in this to find a quality man, then put your best qualities out there for him to see.

You have a great smile and wonderful photos of yourself. Wouldn't change a thing there. As for the text. Very intelligently written, however, VERY long and unfortunately I didn't feel like reading it all.
Remember...the key here is to pique their interest, not present a resume. If you can, cut the bio down by 2/3. Save something for the first date, and second, third...;-)
If you aren't getting e-mails, do a search and start sending them out yourself. Do a minimum of 10 a day. Nothing too long but not just a brief hello either. Three to four sentences max and let er rip.

Posted: 6/5/2006 2:19:53 AM | | well, may i put my 2 cents in? i personally think the only things your profile is missing is a couple more photos of you (working on a hobby, etc.) and have 1 of them be full length. that is something i'm curing tonite on my ad. throw a few of your hobbies into the interests section, that way guys have some sort of idea what you like to do, music you listen to, etc. and the only other thing i can find is that your set to only recieve contact from people 75 miles or less away. if your looking for strictly dating, that's fine. but if your also open to friendships started via e-mail, then kick it way out there. and, just to b honest...... i'd thought about writing you for friendship myself. you know where your life is going, and that's great! all i'm saying, is don't cut yourself short, the guy ment for you (probably NOT me) may start as your friend from out-of-state, you never know. i guess what i'm trying to say is don't cut yourself short! | |

Well, since you are getting e-mails and messages from POF then you might not be interested in my comments, but here goes.
You header screams "I'll never compromise, I'll never bend for you" Is that what you want it to say? Every human being changes. The man you were at 18 is not the man you are now, nor the man you'll be at 45...same goes for women. Being open to that reality will help you understand women and help you form a lasting relationship. Please change your header...no one 29 years old should be so set in their ways.
Your photo selection is a nice mixture of different looks, but the first one is very blurry. Can you take another just like it but with a steady hand?
I found the text you wrote to be incoherant. Had difficulty following any of it. There were incomplete sentences which made me wonder at the very meaning of your words. Truly, re-read the text and look at each sentence. Do they all make sense? Not to me. Perhaps not to other women and maybe the reason why the 'right one for you' hasn't come along yet.

What is wrong with your profile - everything. Let's start from the top. Your header is negative and needs to be more uplifting or funny, not the introduction into negativetown.
Your picture...orange, grainy, blurry, no smile, only one photo...c'mon.
1. Clear photos
2. At least two close ups
3. At least two smiling
4. At least one body shot
The text - UM- start over.
While I applaude your effort to be honest, your opening line reads like a bad joke
I'm a second shift mixer at a rubber factory.
DO NOT go into the 10 minute whine about nice guys finishing last...boring, boring, boring. Oh...and did I say boring?
The world knows that nice guys finish last and it isn't right and it isn't fair. Everyone knows that girls with big boobs and slender thighs get all the guys, it isn't right and it isn't fair. But to bring it up in your profile just draws attention to what you don't have.
ONLY FOCUS ON WHAT IS POSITIVE ABOUT YOU.

You are on the right track my friend. Great header.
Photo is nice but your eyes are looking down. Take a few others. At least one close up of your face with a nice smile. You are good looking and appear to have nice full lips. Capitalize on that!
Text was short, sweet and well written. Only complaint I have is the lower case use of the personal pronoun.

Don't like your header at all. Especially after reading the text in your profile. Your final line says what you are really looking for
One requirement though ladies, you gotta have some brains. Good looks are nothin without good conversation to back it up! Why not try to figure out how to summarize that and say it in your header?
As for the photo, you are a good looking guy but a girl wants to see your eyes. Take a couple close ups without glasses and with a smile.
Text: Capitalize personal pronouns! Don't give your weight and height...height is listed above and your photo show your weight.

Your header - Use the Schwartz- WTF? You don't even make another reference to it in the text so I have no idea what that means? Shouldn't your header be used to entice a man, not confuse him?
Photos...bad, worse, and horrible. Get rid of all of them and start over. You need a very good friend who cares about you to style you and take flattering shots of you. None of these do that. You are a cute girl but you look like a boxing opponent, ready to take one on the chin. You don't need to look so tough, you need to look more approachable.
So - smile, try some different styles with your hair and shoot yourself from the front as well as the side.
As for the text, there are some grammatical issues I would fix and I believe a typo or two. Oh...and please remove this oxymoron

Your header...are you referring to yourself or to the woman you are looking for? If you are looking for a woman, is this a prerequisite...that she be driven to succeed? You did start the statement off with a must. Hmmm....perhaps something not so lofty and, er, confusing?
Photos are wonderful. Have two recommendations. Remove #5, can't see you, don't care about seeing your friend on the couch. ADD one close up of your face. You seem to be absolutely adorable but hard to say cuz most of the shots are long shots.
Text, well written, thoughtful, intelligent...good job!

Where are all the Kitchener men? Don't limit yourself to men just in your hometown? If there were that many available men who meet your criteria in Kitchener, wouldn't you have already bumped into them by now? C'mon...do you really think the man of your dreams couldn't possibly live in the next town or provence (that is what you call them up there, right)? You have your age preference set at 28-36...so any man who is 27 and PERFECT for you, cannot even communicate with you. Change that to 25 - 39.
About me section - why do you list things 'about him'.....no, no, no, just talk about you. And no need to mention you are a Scorpio...already mentioned in bio up top.
Look, you have one of the most adorable faces I've seen on this site and a killer body to go with it. ALL of your photos are great. You've got close up, long shot, body shot, beautiful smile...everyone should emulate your photos.
Do a search for 25-39 with a 100 mile zip radius and when you get 5 million faces staring back at you, start e-mailing everyone that appeals to you. Nothing long, just a hello and a few lines. GUARANTEE that once you get yourself OUT THERE, you are going to get noticed by a lot of men BUT, with all your preference set so sphincter tight, no one will be able to e-mail you. Relax...loosen up, have fun with this. You'll find him. I promise you.
