ABOUT ME: Too many distracting icons and you need to run a spell check.
If you aren't getting any e-mail, get out there an circulate. Send out e-mails and start posting on forums. BESIDES the widow threads.

Hi and how are you? Well I have been here a few weeks now and am not too proud to admit I would appreciate some advice. I am not gorgeous just a nice bloke half decent looking and try to be honest about what i want. I have just said dating as anything else might too strong, I am not looking for sex just someone to get to know, a lady who will give me the chance to get to know her and take it from there.
What do you think, be nice to hear and I knwo you got to say as you see it!

You are cute and you have a wonderful profile. I like what you said in the 'About me' section. It needs to be said and you are brave to get it out of the way.
You don't want to be with someone who cannot deal with your unique situation, so don't be upset if you get rejected. It's just a way of self elimination that is necessary to find the right woman for you.
Don't change a thing about your profile...except...add more photos of your great smile.

Sorry my friend, but your profile is awful.
You have only one photo, strike one. The one photo you do have is kind of menacing looking. You aren't smiling and there is a flash glare in the lense of your glasses.
You need better photos. And you need more of them.
In the Interest section, you need to put a comma beteen each word and ...are those really your only interests? Perhaps you could come up with a few more??
About me section is a waste of space. You basially repeat information that has already been provide about you. Don't tell me you are Mexican. I know that. Don't give me your age, I know that too. If you are wearing glasses in your photo, do you really need to tell me that you wear glasses? Come on...put a little more effort into this.

You have a good header and good photos. Your interest section, however, is lacking. I know you lumped 'all artistic' things together, but perhaps you shouldn't. Provide at least 10 separate things you are interested in.
As for the About me section, I found what little there was, interesting but full of grammar issues and misspellings.
Clean it up and expand it. You are a writer, you are creative. Write something beautiful about who you are.

Thank you for the compliments...by the time you got to mine, I had the opportunity to take the advice you had given previously to others.
Since I have tweeked my profile, I am getting MUCH more response!! It feels great!!
As for the weight loss, I feel a bit guilty, it's not something I've been conciously stiving for....it's just happening...but I'm DEFINITELY not complaining!! ...Heck...what girl doesn't like an excuse to go out and buy an entire new wardrobe??...after 38 lbs -- and counting...my old clothes just don't fit --or look--the same as they used to!! It sure is a confidence boost in itself!!

Ok - photo is very nice, but like you've already pointed out, you need more. You have kids right? Make them photograph you? That's what punk slaves are for.
I really liked your interest section. You have some unique things listed. I especially like the last one.
Your 'About me' section, however, needs some help. Specifically grammar and spelling. Just run a spell check and that should clear up most issues.

My friends and family mean the world to me but there are a few things in the intimacy dept.........

Great photos. Just missing the close up of your smiling face without sunglasses.
The interest section is good.
The 'About me' section, however, is awful.
a) Too long
b) Too many bouncing, dancing icons. Very distracting. Felt like I needed Ritalin.
3) Poor grammar throughout narrative.
d) Overuse of the LOL, lol, lol phrase.
5) A lot of negative statements in there. You seem to be very demanding and shallow. If that is who you are in real life and want to portray yourself in that vein, then you've succeeded.
