I have a friend in Australia who is originally a fijian indian and when she gets dressed up in her hindi clothes, wow. Her brown eyes are as beautiful as any blue eyes I've ever seen. | |

But in Canada, do you think that people care about a person's skin colour anymore? Isn't culture more important? | |

I personally have never been attracted to anyone but caucasians. Spanish men, dark skinned men, eastern men, Native Americans, what have you......I have NO clue why I do not look at them in the same way. It is subconscious. | |

Posted: 9/24/2008 4:50:41 PM | I don't know what to tell you OP-I find east Indian men and women to be very attractive. The dark hair, dark & mysterious eyes, the darker skin.
I looked at your profile and maybe you just need to add some more information regarding yourself and your likes, etc... give women a better insight as to who you are-it may make you more appealing.

I will answer this question:
Generally speaking, meaning the majority of the time, a majority being defined as greater than 50% of the time, people of all races date within thier own race. For instance Los Angeles is the most racially diverse city in the world but most of the people I see date within thier race.
You would have to find the statistics on inter-racial dating then calculate your chances on getting a white guy. You can use the mathematics of gambling to determine your odds. So for instance if you are a looking for a good looking white guy ages 18-24 you would develop a criteria. Then you would get your test subjects and see how many good looking white guys date Indian girls (keep in mind what they say and what they do are different). So you get a raw number. Then you extrapolate a margin of error.
Perhaps you have a 1/20 chance with a -0.25% deviation on any given dice roll (so to speak). Then you take that number and use it to determine your chances in your target "white male" population.
Of course those are just numbers weather the guy actually likes you is a whole different thing that has nothing to do with numbers.
Why do you want a white guy BTW? Is it becuase of the history of the caste system? There must be some reason. | |

Not even Canadian) that is totally sexy - the Mohinder Suresh character on Heroes just had a hot shirtless scene in the season premiere. Yum. | |

Some hispanics to me tend to favor several ethnic groups including some asians as mentioned. Albeit this is more so in the US. By the way, Disturbia very cute picture. | |

While differences in culture and religion can be an issue, having been in a few long-term relationships where these things were 'radically' different, it's just a matter of demonstrating mutual respect for the other person's beliefs and culture as they do for you. I may have this attitude simply because I'm agnostic and not particularly religious... | |

I do have a SERIOUS weak spot for Asian/Indian/Pakistani women. Especially the ones with the very 'anglo' features, very dark skin and curvacious hips...that's a killer combo if you ask me, don't know why.
There's a serious problem though, it's really tough getting past the cultural barriers. Around here they're a very tight-knit community. All I get from them is the 'Stink-Eye'. | |

not really, Reason why some ethnic minorities are concrened if white people find them attractive is because white people are the majority in western countries. Hence if the majority of white people find them attractive, they increase their chances of finding a mate rather then just limiting themselves to their own race. If a westernized Indian guy (who has no problem dating outside his race) can attract white girls, black girls, chinese girls, latina girls, etc. His chances of finding a compatible mate go up tenfold. If an Indian guy dates a white girl who grew up in the same town as him He'll probably have more common with her then he would with a girl his own race who grew up in India or somewhere else. and with old traditional values and arranged marriages dying out more and more Indians I know are dating outside their race. More then half of my Indian cousins ended up marrying outside their race.
it's all about having more choices really. | |
