I had one beautiful "mixed race" girl e-mail me last year, but she was mostly east indian, and I was just happy that a girl like that would take the time no e-mail me and say something nice like she did. What made me attracted to her more, was that she said she is non materialistic and not shallow and she seems to have had a great character and that was what really made me attracted to her.
So yes, MANY east Indian women are beautiful and i wouldn't mind dating one someday. | |

Just need to tell you that Indians are so different from region to region,north to south,west to east...basically as big a variation as in Europe.

The biggest concern I have is their religious beliefs would have to be Christian in order for things to work for me. Myself, being a Christian who truely believes in the teachings of Christ and not just wears Christianity as a label would be very uncomfortable getting romantically involved with someone who believes totally different than I. Especially if there should ever be children in the relationship.  | |

Most of the time no one knows exactly what nationality I am and growing up I shyed away from the E.I side because I heard alot of racial remarks.
I'v tried to embrace it alot more and tell myself its a part of who I am and if people don't like it oh well.
As well I only know my Hungarian Side of the family which is white so I do have a bit of a complex that I get over more every day.
This is all embarassing to admit and I'm sorry, I'm just being truthful. | |

I agree with you, Flavia. Merely having a preference does not make one shallow.
However, choosing to verbally degrade and demean large women instead of stating his preference in a respectful manner speaks volumes for his character. THAT is why he's not very liked around here...Not for his preference, but for his obvious lack of respect.
...And you missed Y&R's point. She wasn't saying you were shallow because of your preferences....

For me to date an east indian girl, she would have to be beyond something special. I just don't see it happening. | |

Posted: 6/12/2006 9:35:51 AM | I find East Indian men very attractive and in the last year I have dated two EI men. My attraction is not just physical. I am not someone who goes just on physical attraction to begin with, for me it is the entire package. The EI men that I have met seem to be very intelligent, have a better understanding of the spiritual side of life and value beauty in all aspects of their life. Their values seem to be strongly in place and they are deep universal thinkers. I am not just out there looking for an EI man but if one shows interest I am deffinatly not going to shoot him down.
