Five letter word beginning with 'L'

5?

I think I might see the problem....

L O N E L Y
1 2 3 4 5 6

Are you more introverted than extroverted?

Introverted AND misanthropic.

I really like being alone. I don't like being around people very much. Drove my ex crazy. She is emotioanlly needy and wanted a house full of people ALL the time.

I live with only my little dog, and we do just fine.

lone·ly (lōn'lē)
adj., -li·er, -li·est.

Without companions; lone.
Characterized by aloneness; solitary.
Unfrequented by people; desolate: a lonely crossroads.

Dejected by the awareness of being alone. See synonyms at alone.
Producing such dejection: the loneliest night of the week.

For the most part women define lonely in one of the above mentioned ways.

Men however define lonely in a different light when talking to women......again..for the most part. If a man asks you if you get lonely what he really wants to know is "are you horny?"

I agree that you can be lonely even with a significant other and I can also be lonely in a crowded room. For me it is being on the same web page with someone , feeling connected that makes a difference. I used to enjoy being alone , still do to a certain extent but do get tired of doing everything alone.Going to a concert, or out to dinner, etc. and having no one to ask , did you enjoy that music, didn't they have beautiful voices?

I've said this many times before, I do not like being single. I HATE it. I'd rather be in a relationship than be without a companion.
