Nowt wrong with being English, except I come from an Irish-Scottish family and lived in England all my life. Was in the Army and can't get much more patriotic than that, to volunteer and be prepared to fight for ones country. The cheque on my life I wrote didn't get cashed thankfully, but there were occasions when I felt I would sooner be somewhere else, however that goes with the job.
