Posted: 7/21/2006 4:26:31 PM | Hey Pooh..if you have to lose weight .. do it for yourself, for your health. not for that man. I am pretty sure there are REAL men who will accept you. I always had nice and good looking boyfriends. And I always been big.
The worse, I was born a big baby. From 1 to 8, I was very tall, skinny and had the longest feet a kid could have. for my age, I even had longer feet than boys of my age!!! Suddenly for no reason, I started to gain weight. When I was a teenager, I was big,the worse, everyday of the summer, I was always at the local pool. while people were "tanning" next to the pool, I was in the pool swimming, exercising, but continued to gain weight.
I guess it is mystic who mentioned about largefriends.com. or clubs or groups specialized. It is good and it is not. I used to be a member of a group. I am no longer. I am on my own.
And take it with a little philosphy. You need a big body to hide your BIG HEART!!!! That is the way I take it.

Sometimes I wish you thick gals approached the guys that actually would enjoy your company. There are some men out there who actually worship thick confident assertive mamas. Forget the shallow idiots and go out and hunt for those gentlemen who crave and desire a luscuious voluptuous lass. Better yet, look for someone who has similar pasttimes and hobbies and tend to look at the inner/cerebral person and notthe exterior. Being a little assertive adds a little spice. | |

I think you need to what is right for you. If you want to lose the weight for you and not for this relationship to flourish then do it, but be sure your doing it for yourself because if you did it for him you may find he comes up with something else he isnt happy about

Posted: 11/23/2006 11:17:57 PM | I do not know what you look like, so I cannot really get into detail. However, I have some things to say that I hope will be useful.
You cannot change him to have different desires, likes or dislikes. He appears to "accept" you, but he has no romantic attraction. I take a lot of time to care for my health and appearance and that includes weight management. Naturally, I expect the same in a mate. I don't need perfection, but someone overweight is also not likely to be able to keep up with me in many ways and is not going to be as healthy as I am attempting to keep myself. Even sexually - it is much harder to be intimate with a large woman. Many things are just more difficult.
Anyone can lose the weight and become more healthy. I do not have to tell you how dangerous it is to be overweight - if I do then you have more serious problems than other men also may be willing to overlook...
Frankly, do it for yourself - not him. If you value your health and appearance, work at it and lose some weight... YES it may be hard work but YOU will benefit from it AND attract MANY more men.
If you have no intention of losing the extra weight, then you might as well seek men who like large women or men who are large themselves. Then you know they will not lose interest when the initial "honeymoon" period of an attraction wears off - and it will.

BBW is sexy and it’s his loss, oh yes there are men that love big woman; There are women that like BBM. When will you get it?
IT’S WRONG TO BE OVERWEIGHT!!!! Everyone that is overweight will suffer at one point.
I’m going for surgery tomorrow to have one kidney removed because I use to be overweight at 425 pounds and I may not make it, I cannot have my kidney replaced because I became a diabetic. so why does someone always have to die to teach someone a lesson, Oh yes I was good in my own skin, I loved myself, oh yes there was woman that loved BBM like me, I went to the gym and I lost 180 pounds, big deal! It’s to late now, the damage is done, I may not be back, but it does not matter anymore, because they will put me to sleep and if I never wake up I’ll never know I died. I think all you big people that is taking this BBW thing with a negative attitude just never stopped and really gave it some thought about your future or the future of someone you love and want to be with for a longer life.
