* Proper attire (one that obscures yet flatter the body.
I love a woman who has a big butt, and who wears the long dress (ah the Russian Jewish gals... sigh)
* Good Hygiene
* Personality/Confidense
* Attitude
A clean, saavily dressed, woman with a Mae West attitude and a Molly Brown moxie wins big time in my book.
There are some of guys who are old school and just adore the old school gals.

i think ur missing the point......love isnt about what u look like or what u wear it isnt about how much money u make or what kinda car u drive......
love comes from with in......its who u are........
and loving urself is the first step in finding Mr Right.........
it dosent matter if ur 125 pounds or 525 pounds........
some men dont know what they want u can be 125 pounds and he still might say well u dont look right or this or that.....and u could be 525 pounds and he might say i love u just the way u are.......
it isnt all men .....just the ones that have the notion that us as a people should be more healthy and thinner.......
i am a bbw and dam proud of it i change for no one.......
if this friend of urs cant get over the fact that u are not quote "his type" then maybe he dont want u like that as in relantionship......maybe he only wants to be friends......
one day ull be in the supermarket getting dinner and poof there he will be standing and ull meet mr right....maybe....u never know.....

well...there are so many ppl that have such a big overview on "bbw", and are in fact NOT bbw.
i would have to agree with most of these ppl that if you have confidence then you're ok...but on the other hand if a man does not loke bbw,no matter how much confidence you have he wont care...
also if you can't appreciate you...noone else will.
i also read that ppl being pregnant is the reason why they are fat...well i say thats a bunch of poop but if thats what they believe then so be it...i just love ppl that are not bbw and try to comment on why it is that we are...lol
i am a bbw and i wouldnt say that i am proud to be but i am confident and full of self-worth.
there are so many different types of ppl in this world and as long as you are comfortable with you thats all that matters and please do me a favor dont lose weight for some dude if you gonna do it do it for yourself..
btw there are plenty of men that are attracted to bbw yu just need to be attracted to yourself thats all.
sweetie dont go out of your way to try and find out what it takes to attract a man...even the "skinny" girls dont know how... | |

A woman can be thin or overweight, and I might not be attracted. I look at the person all together. Somehow on some women, to me, some who are kind of chubby or a little on the heavy side can be quite cute, but others might not appeal to me at all. It can somehow do with how the person likes how the weight is distributed, if he finds her face appealing to, and this might sound superficial. You can't force the guy to like you. However, if you really want him and he does like you and you think it is worth it to shed the pounds, it is up to you. You can say well the guy should like you regardless but generally guys prefer women who are in the middle or maybe slightly over under. I am sure plenty of BBW women get dates, but I would think if you lose weight, you might increase your chances. I think that is a fact no matter how people want to protest that. I say this as a person who doesn't mind someone being somewhat overweight. | |

Now that I have weight on myself its hard at times to understand different opinions on the subject as some people are brutual about heavier people. There is a story to everyones story. I did not eat my way to a bigger size it was due to an unfortunate ailment. The ailment is under control but medication can reak havok and it can give the illusion of making a person bigger. In my case I didnot become bigger from eating but rather due to medication. After countless emails to me I feel that I had to say my peace. So if you meet someone that is bigger remember there is often a story to why they are that way. Stop look and then listen and most of all show some heart and if its in you sensitivity.

The weight factor doesn't mean a lot to me if I see a healthy person. Someone who has more fat or more in the T&A than other women is not a turn off.
But a young lady who is young and not working or doing anything to stay active and the weight is slowing her down and hurting her health that is not attractive. | |

I keep a very active lifestyle and I dont think i would have a lot in common as far as extra cirricular activities with an overwieght person.
So, I look for someone who has the same lifestyle I do. I would suggest that if you are a BBW, you would do the same. | |

Who is to say that overweight women can't be active? Not dogging your reply by any means, but I think it's a stereotype that overweight women are just lazy and unhealthy. I am a bigger girl and can outrun any of my thinner counterparts, not to mention my cholesterol and blood pressure are spectacular!
So, I look for someone who has the same lifestyle I do.
That's fair....I've always looked for someone that has no problem going out on the town, but also likes to spend time in together. Again, lifestyle.
I would suggest that if you are a BBW, you would do the same.
Just curious, are you suggesting that fat women pair up with fat men solely because they are fat? I find it kind of funny that people seem to have this picture in their heads that fat women if they ever date, only date fat men. (not suggesting you, but that's how the above statement sounds) I've never been "immune" to dating anyone based on physical appearance, but any guy I've ever dated (and I've dated alot) have been thin, average, or athletic. The guy I'm with now is the "largest" I've ever been with, and considering he's got the tinniest of tummys and toned everywhere else....guess that debunks the myth, eh? | |
