| If they call us women Cougars, what do they call the Men? Posted: 4/12/2008 8:30:21 AM | What do you call the men who like younger women?
Well there are many things that can be thought of such as "Big Tiger" or just "Tiger", another one I heard is "Dadey" not to be confused with daddy or father (as in parent)..rather this term refers to the "who is yo daddey" type, and has that context in mind, so maybe a term of dominance or superiority as the term would have us suggest?. I have heard some be called "rock" or "Rock Man" , I don't know where that came from, I think it originated in the 70's or something from one of the tv shows back then, and they may have adapted it to refer to an older male who likes younger ladies. "Grizz" is another term I beleive I heard used for them and "Bear" or "Big Bear" is yet another.
These terms frankly are as derogatory in my opinion to say about a guy as "cougar" is for a lady that likes younger men.
I frankly don't like it when people refer to men or women in their 40's (and up) or even 30's, who like younger women and men respectively, those kinds of terms.

I think it is appropriate - dirty old man. And cougars are the same. I would not be happy if some 40 something guy tried dating my 18 year old daughter, he would need some wall to wall counseling to get his head on right. I think women doing the same thing are probably in need of similar therapy.

| If they call us women Cougars, what do they call the Men? Posted: 4/24/2009 9:00:26 PM | If an "older" women (and it makes me shudder to think that a 40 to 50 year old woman is now considered "old" to so many) can get a younger man, and they can both enjoy each other's company, ....I don't call that woman a cougar. I call her...brilliant.
I mean really, what is the big freaking deal? Older men have been bedding much younger women for centuries, but the minute Demi marries Ashton, everyone is all aghast. Seriously, who cares? I say it's high time the tables were turned a bit. Good for them I say. Too many assume cougars are these pathetic losers who just "pray" on young men. Oh please. Women hit their sexual prime later in life, so it's only natural that they might want to date someone who matches their sex drives...men in their 20's.
I say, good for them. It's about freaking time, women evened the odds a little. I mean if Hugh Hefner can date women young enough to be his great granddaughters....

I guess I am an official cougar now since I did promise a guy once he hit 30 to look me up.....well, guess who came knocking...lol
So, if I am married in the next 3 months it will be to him cuz that was the deal.

Posted: 4/24/2009 9:59:35 PM | I find it amusing that younger women seem to see it perfectly alright to want a guy who's a bit older than they are, and then bash us as we get older for liking a woman who's younger than we are. Hey, you conditioned us into it. Besides, you still do it; there are far too many women in their twenties that have the hots for George Clooney, Tom Cruise, etc.. So us average middle aged guys just feel if those guys are acceptable, then so are we. Or....will you admit to being golddiggers????

If she's 18 and still living at home then you have the obligation and responsibility to make sure your rules are followed as long as she does her laundry there. But....if a guy or girl is 18 and living on their own...guess what. It's time to rest on the idea you raised them with enough sense to make these decisions on their own.If they are ok with it........it's their decision...period.

| If they call us women Cougars, what do they call the Men? Posted: 4/25/2009 11:49:51 AM | Yup, dirty old man is the expression I hear and have heard for a man at least 20 years older than the woman. Of course the woman in the relationship may refer to him as sugar daddy.
Now I do think cougars should only be used for women that are on the prowl that is what it originally meant. A woman that was out to find a boy to devour and give what is left back. It didn't mean anything long term.
Of course milf also doesn't mean long term. So women have a couple labels that are for sex only.
Not sure what one in a long term relationship is called, I know they used to say May December romance for either sex.

I don't know about the rest of the older gentlemen, but they call me often.
........what could you do with something 6" round???
I thought that was only a little bigger than average. Of course, I was looking to experiment with a c0ck-ring, and none of the models were any bigger than that.
