Was I the only Englisman that did? England are well over rated. The British media make them out to be demi-gods, but when you put them along side their foreign counterparts they are obviously not. Gerrard is the only genuine World class player among them. They played unimaginatively and negatively from the off and got what they deserved. Nice to see such grown, eduacated people using this against each other. I am pleased to say i am not one of these people that use the excuse of it "just being a bit of fun" Nice to see England and Portugal Using their status to show they are against racism .. I for one am proud to live on this island and all its inhabitants, English, Welsh , Scottish, and even the Irish over the water.. And if or when the scottish tennis player takes a fall, i wont be one to rub salt in to the wounds... I watched the match in the club yesterday, and was so caught up in cheering and chanting, it was a fantastic atmosphere as everyone cheered these guys on.
