Posted: 11/26/2006 3:21:26 PM | I don't think a toy could ever rock my world, I like the pocket rocket, don't have one right now, or want one anytime soon but I discovered it (with the help of a friend) when I was 25 and wore it out, it has a life of about a year if used constantly, which mine was, so I'd get a new one every year, up until a few years ago. I'm trying to get away from that stuff though, it can really kill your sex drive since you feel like you are getting satisfied but you really aren't and it did not rock my world, just made me a little more relaxed ..
Would never pay $2000 for a sex toy, rather have a nice purse or watch, something like that. | |

Also, there's seems to be a lot of "either/or" here, as though toys are neccessarily a replacement for personal contact. This seems to ignore any number of toys from sex swings to saw-horses to gags or corsets.
Personally, my moods shift from a fondness for the purity of "nothing but us" and the variety of play-toys. | |

$40.00??? Point me there.... I've been wanting to try one of these out, but everywhere I look they seem to start in the $180.00 range, which is just out of my range at the moment. Sigh, maybe when I get my tax return... Must be I'm shopping in all the wrong places. BTW, I appreciate the awareness of and support for playing safe, msmeew!! Nothing spoils the mood like getting the wrong bacteria in the wrong orafice.
Incidentally, the Good Vibrations folks say to put condoms on gel toys - even if you aren't sharing - because they are pourous, and apparently can hide yeasty beasties and the like. They're the only source I've heard this from, but it makes sense to me (although *damned* if I want to deal with condoms if I'm just having sex for one that day...)
I like this website. Theres lower and higher quality toys but the high quality are usually very reasonable from shopping around. Many of their better products are very customizeable. Range from very small to crazy large sizes. Glass ones too much less than $180.

It's all about the design, and the functionality. If you can find it for less...try it out........ We spend more money on things that are less satisfying.
For those that think toys are a hindrance....they can really add to the whole experience..don't think of them as replacements..think of them as good stand-ins, and extra fun when you're together!!  | |

Well in my defense, why I am even doing this is beyond me, but that post grated on my nerves. My boyfriend is a trucker, and he drives nationwide,because of this he isnt always home, so in order to satisfy myself when he isnt home, I turn to masturbation. Whether its my showerhead, my hand or some dildos hahaha, my thoughts are always concentrated on my boyfriend and there is nothing wrong with that.
Masturbation is a healthy activity that you can have with yourself. Look around on the internet or read some books on human sexuality and you will see that doctors agree. I would much rather my boyfriend masturbate than cheat on me any day and vice a versa.

Lately I've been thinking about manufacturing those masturbators for women.
You know the kind of "tractor" seat with a dild* mounted on a rail in front of the seat.
It's already all in my head. A potentimeter to control the speed, a red emergency switch.. and a small vibrator that can be placed on the clit... an optional alternating anal dild.. Jesus.
Most of the parts (bearings, rail, seat, motor, switches..) are available so I would just have to manufacture the brackets and some fittings.
It would be sold for about 1800$.
That would be a fun project but I feel it wouldn't be fun for too long..
