| WHATS MORE IMPORTANT BRAINS OR BEAUTY?? Posted: 4/19/2005 12:08:21 AM | It's all subjective bro' .......brains and beauty.
Love is a lot of things, ....none of which are truly objectifiably quantifiable, .....no?
It's almost a Cartesian Dualism / Uncertainty Principle, thang, ....y'know?
Mind over matter in an unpredictable dynamic matrix......
....or not.

| WHATS MORE IMPORTANT BRAINS OR BEAUTY?? Posted: 4/19/2005 8:06:05 AM | I want to revise my earlier answer, as looking at Chelz2 sort of short-circuited my brain and skewed my good judgment. Seriously, there's really no excuse for anyone fitting into the, well, maybe not pure beauty catagory, but "attractive-enough" catagory. In my opinion, a wholesome lifestyle accomplishes this. Thus, if one takes good care of themselves physically and I'm talking about in moderation (eating, exercise), has good hygiene, keeps a positive outlook on life (optimism shows up on the outside and in a person's eyes), lives with integrity (a clean conscience makes for a beautiful countenance), dresses with good taste, etc, then nearly everyone can arrive at the level of "attractive-enough."
In the same sense, although intelligence is something we are born with, we all have the ability to develop what we've been given to a large degree. So smarts is largely accomplished through not only formal, but informal education. In fact, the smartest people I know never finished college, but are very street smart from just getting out there and taking chances and learning from their failures and so forth. Also, the library is free to everyone and is far superior to a college degree.
Thus, the "beauty" part, nearly all women and men can achieve "good-enough", out of just taking care of themselves. The "brains" part, nearly all women and men can achieve "good-enough", by just using their brains in daily life.
Conclusion: I prefer a normal woman who has accomplished the above in moderation, rather than a beautiful bimbo, which I think turns most men completely off or a female rocket scientist who has bad hygiene. Balance of beauty/brains through good choices we all have control over and in moderation. Available to nearly everyone.

I always like your disposition and stance you take - never offensive. But, I am surprised, unless you are just being humorous, why would you want a woman who is smarter than you?

| WHATS MORE IMPORTANT BRAINS OR BEAUTY?? Posted: 4/19/2005 9:33:21 AM | | I prefer intellect, but not book smart...someone that would ask the silly question "how many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" and then run out, buy a bag of tootsie pops and make us spend the night conducting our own controled experiment. | |

| WHATS MORE IMPORTANT BRAINS OR BEAUTY?? Posted: 4/19/2005 9:48:39 AM | i prefer brains...looks fade...and i dont wanna end up sitting across from the table asking his opinion on something, and looking into a wrinkled old face w/a blank stare

And thanks for the compliment.
