There are some sleazy places to shop for toys and some that are more friendly. I know the one store by me is fairly well lit and doesn't have the peep show things. The few times I have been in there there has been just as many couples and women as men.
Funny but the place has men working during the day and women working during the nights. I think it would be more comfortable for a woman seeing woman at the toy store rather than just a bunch of guys. | |

The most "interesting" sexual uhm ... deviencies (is that a word?) I have ever experienced have been at the behest of the woman involved. So it isn't just guys driving that stuff. BUT you need to be careful because stuff like that can trigger an almost post traumatic stress experience in women who had some terrible experience with sex when younger. | |

Also most of the store clerks are women who have experience to explain how toys work. The sleazy factor has been taken out of them and most are brightly lit and most have security to make the patrons feel safe. | |

I think it just depends on the person and how sexually repressed they are. I was raised Catholic and am an adrenelin junky. I have the opposite issue of your girl. I'm a little prudish and conservative with sex, and my ex husband was wild and wanted it all the time and to do all this kinky stuff with toys. For whatever reason it's never happened. No woman has expressed a want to do it and I have to say that I've never thought to ask.
I'm surprised at how many men won't play with toys. I guess they are intimidated by something larger then themselves. I think it would be fun to make a mold for my member. She could be all artsy with it. Paint it pretty colors.
