Hey I just adore geeky girls with glasses!
then followed by some compliments on my wit and profile
then an offer to meet for dinner/drinks
and after that happened an amazing connection/spark that didn't quit!
fast forward 50 years and were both in the nursing home sitting side by side in our wheelchairs sharing some jello!
haha okay thats a stretch , just a nice , funny ,smart message , I'm not askin for much! | |

Here I was on Plenty of Fish
I really was beginning to wish
to get to know an interesting creature
A gem, a rare find, a short, plump teacher.
Much to my surprise
before my very eyes,
I see an email from a female.
It's from Fifi47,
I think I might be in heaven.
She teaches children to speak.
Is she the one I seek?
She likes to cook,
and is writing a book.
Can she really dance
and make romance?
She likes to sing, and loves earrings,
Can she make the most
of a weekend at the coast?
She lives with a black and white cat
Does a wear a bow tie and a hat?
She hasn't been a wife,
although she loves having a man in her life.
Maybe the men who are maturing
Fifi gal does not find alluring.
It's not far fetched for me to like,

Why?
I would want her words to surpise me, attract me and intrigue me like nothing else I would have read, or could think of. I would want her to be able to challenge me right off the mark, keep me on my toes (but not on eggshells). It would be a lengthy note, I think. I would express some common interests, and perphaps some excited passages about conclusions she drew from my profile. She would expand on those ideas, and ramble on about her theories, and ideas that were birthed out of those ramblings. She would be sweet about her words, contradictary without being combative, complimentary without being patronizing or forced. Her words would convey her own eccentricites, her intellect, and a sweet modesty without being cripplingly self-concious.
And she would cite at least one of the quotes.

Most importantly, signed with his real name, that I know, he's the one I want to talk to. That I know, how should I respond to the one I care of. That I don't have to guess, could it be his roomate's cousin or his cats? Could it be his insurance agent who happens know my name? Such and such.......you know, that can be awfully annoying and confusing. My hairs turn grey because of this kind of guessing.......that you know.....it's all your fault........objection is overruled  | |

hello,
This is the first time I'm attempting a "site" like this. A coworker told me about it and I am willing to try anything.
I was immediately compelled to message you whilst combing thru the search function of locals. You're extremely beautiful and I think some of your interests cooincide with mine.
I am not quite sure how elaborate an opening message should be, but I imagine I need to provide something so you'll be enticed to respond... Even if its basic questions.
How are you? (lame, I know)
What do you do? (lameish)
Life ambition? (not terribly bad)
Favorite cartoon as a kid? (good start)
Hopefully that's a decent block to build on.
If not, just smile knowing some random fella thinks you're beautiful and applied 5 mins to make sure you know it.
