| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/14/2007 11:06:12 PM | VenicesKurt ^^^
Dude, despite your opinion of any e-mail sent to you in private/sent outside these public forum threads: It is NOT COOL to air what you believe to be dirty laundry in public. It is NOT COOL to publicly post ANY e-mail sent to you in private, even if it says VenicesKurt For Mayor. Delete it if you still can.
And you can expect to hear from the dreaded Forum Police soon (for what that is worth).

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/14/2007 11:16:32 PM | (Yea, but it didn't earn me your Secret Crush designation...)
We now return to our regularly scheduled programming, let the reviewing begin. Again.
Violet Tigress: A winning profile, full of little gems that reflect your personality, and it highlights you as one of the most interesting fish in the pond. Now, what does your screen name mean again?>>
Christy2Luv: Dang, one of the finest molds the Good Lord used when crafting His (okay, Her) finest work: The Female Goddess. Her beauty, despite being obvious, doesn't distract from her smarts and fun. The only thing wrong with her profile is that it is on a singles website, and that she lists her town of residence somewhere far away from hot and cold running water.
Sock Puppeteer: Your profile makes men want to be you, and women want to be with you.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/14/2007 11:24:29 PM | Cute, funny and articulate. BUT, he is NOT a doctor, so don't let that costume lead you astray, oh fair maiden.
And he was my secret crush before I fell for Mr. Right.
And SockPuppeteer, since when can you review your own profile? LOL

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/14/2007 11:45:51 PM | Okay, let me touch you there... It's okay, I'm a doctor. (Every Halloween, anyway.) Now turn your head and cough. My God, even I was fooled... those ARE real!
And don't get all doey-eyed over your so called "Mr. Right". I happen to know he can only afford to be in an HMO, and thus couldn't support you in the manner to which you would like to become accustomed to.
My diagnosis is that your profile will cause lesser men (oh, about 98% of the male population) to flee like the little schoolgirls they are, since they cannot handle a REAL WOMAN, which is clearly what you are. Looks, a generous abundance of gray matter, strong moral character, you know--all that stuff that completely confounds most dudes. Unless, of course, they happen to be Mr. Right. The only problem will be that if you leave these forums now that you found Mr. Right, the Keepin' It Real factor herein will suffer tremendously. So stick around. Doctor's orders.
Oh, and I'll waive your co-pay just this once.
(And our Canadian friends are suddenly googling "co-pay").

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/15/2007 10:26:30 PM | Actually a nice profile, but could use a couple of minor tweaks. You headline next to your name is a bit negative (gotta be here somewhere) and doesn't really say anything. And your reference to being aloof, though an attempt at humor, comes across as negative as well. This is the place to sell all of your positive attributes and to shine, so a bit of rewording would perk it up. Your primary photo is a good one.
I like your comments about friendship, as it seems very realistic and genuine and makes you very approachable.
Happy fishing. Boomer | |

Although personally i find broadway musicals boring and would rather watch paint dry on a wall then sit through a musical...i can't hold that against you

Other than a few apostrophes missing, your profile re-write looks to be very well-done.
One thing you might want to fix: C-A-R-L-S-B-A-D. Correct that, and you would pop up correctly in a search by city.
Best of luck in the pond.
And to whoever lurks down there vvvvvvvv ....... YES, I KNOW IT'S LONG. I was going for first prize in the longest POF profile in history. I'm still waiting for my certificate of achievement from Mr. Big Fish ..... he tells me it's in the mail.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/20/2007 7:12:41 PM | RAIN: Her profile is prominently featured in the prestigious publication PROFILE WRITING FOR DUMMIES.
Her INTERESTS section is chock full of innuendos, and obviously reflects her repressed Catholic school girl upbringing, complete with short plaid skirt and tight-fitting blouse tied at the mid-riff. (*Involuntarily curls lip*)
I wish it would RAIN on me...
Ooops, sorry McGregrrr. But here is another excellent piece of profiling. A bit long though, can we agree? Terrific collage of photographs, and a very interesting read. The only thing I would change is under the First Date section, remove the inspiring but lengthy and mis-placed poem/lyric.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/20/2007 7:54:37 PM | Thank you Sterling Heart. I've actually have read your profile numerous times, but never put two and two together and realized that it was you who was having my arse here on the forums.
I'm just saving this spot and will now go back and review your profile with a fine tooth comb.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/20/2007 7:58:52 PM | Sterling Heart:
Wow, where to begin… since obviously there is nowhere to end. A funny and fascinating read, albeit disguised as the 19,495 page technical manual for the space shuttle. Some very funny Interests listed, including “Something about Courage Brought About By the Triumph of Adversity in Your Face”, and “Charming & Witty Men Who Have Something Intriguing To Say”. (Punkin, this is not your Christmas wish list to Santa, it’s a dating site. But hope, much like your profile, springs eternal.)
Uh, sorry Polarbearking, but you didn't review her profile, so your's is next...

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/20/2007 8:12:17 PM | Uh, alright, but I'm still gonna do her, er, I mean review her profile...
Damn puppeteer, nice profile. I was intrigued while reading....Wanna meet my sister (BTW, She looks more like mom - I look like dad)?
If I had to pick something, maybe it's a little long, but I hear that chicks dig that kind of thing. I wouldn't change anything. I'm sure your inbox is full.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/20/2007 9:14:33 PM | O.K., back to Sterling Heart. Obviously I'm not qualified to assess your grammer or punctuation. Afterall, I are just a dumb ol' fireman....so I'll just skip that, but it read well. I've never met a numbers cruncher that was so articulate. I'm more used to one word replies from them.
Yes, it is on the long side, but definately not boring. Could you omit a few paragaphs? Sure, but I have a feeling that the right person for you won't mind (nor did I). There were many facinating "thoughts" posted and I feel like I know a little bit about you now, which is what you want in a profile. No?
You obviously know who you are, what you want and who you're looking for. Good for you. It may cause a lot of fish to not take your bait, but the ones that do will hopefully want more than a ride in your 'stang. On the flip side, you'll be quite a catch for the right guy. Happy fishing.

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/21/2007 4:43:03 AM | ^ A man in uniform .... and something wrong? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... I DON'T THINK SO!!!
(My grandparents raised me, Grandfather was the Fire Chief, and that was back in the day when there was a real bell tower at the station) nothing better than warm fuzzy childhood memories. Thanks!

I'm a tad sardonic, sarcastic, ironic and Heaven knows I can be obscure to the point that even I DON'T GET IT! Yes, tis all true, but it is those same qualities which make Neysha who (or what) she is. These same qualities may not be bait for some in the pond, but since she is not trying to catch any fish, it is not really an issue.
Now about that grandmother stuff.......she must have had her child when she was 10 since she is obviously not old enough to be producing yet another generation. "How did this happen?", she asked. Neysha, WE NEED TO TALK!

| What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? Posted: 8/27/2007 2:43:00 PM | He leaves one confused as to who he is. One minute he comes from a galaxy...far, far away. Then he is a super hero with red underwear. He is also a martian and a puppy dog. I'm confused!
Nice pictures though.....love the light saber.
