And what you said was pretty cliche - "liars, players, stay away/don't bother" everyone says that. It's what players look for in profiles - easy targets.  Much better to write a few lines about yourself from the heart.

Writer has a great profile. Very well written and plenty of great pics. I like the fact that she doesn't tell us she has a sense of humor, instead, she shows us loud and clear.

.....because anybody who has brains enough and heart enough to see the marj that i adore is tops in my book and there can be absolutely NOTHING wrong with her profile and i dare ya ta say differently!!

Thanks Beaver for your very kind words.... and I really had some fun with my profile. Never occurs to me to think of anything negative about being deaf... its who I am and yes I am comfortable. My dad's deaf too and he's amazing. He's a scientist and we have proven that deafness isn't hereditary - it's contageous. | |

Good times with several POF long time forum buddies, an evening to never be forgotten.
The only thing "wrong" with his profile is it cannot convey the music of his laugh or the warmth of his presence. (Same goes for my grits sister ladydi)
He is every bit as handsome as his pictures hint at, a caring, polite gentleman and funny enough to make your sides ache. (and shoots a dang good game of pool!)

Posted: 8/21/2008 4:35:47 PM | One picture is too blurry. The other two are good pics, but very different. People might want a current picture so we're not going to know if you still got that 'stache, or if your current one is of you cleanshaven.
It's also a little hard to read. Just one chunk of a paragraph that tends to go on tangents. I'd save the political chat until you click with someone who may be interested in that as you seem to be.
You seem like a fun guy so you would want to bring out the best of you, not just a bunch of random stuff.
