According to national statistics, the average woman is 5.5ft and weighing about 8.5st
I'm 5ft 5 and if i got down to 8.5st, i would look poorly.
My weight does go up and down anything from size 10 -14.
When i'm a size 10 I've always weighed 10st, so quite a bit over the national statistics. But I've been told 10st is fat, it might be on someone else, but for me it isn't.
I don't know what average is anymore, we all come in different shapes and sizes. I'm just me. | |

If i was 8.5stone i'd look skinnier than Mrs Beckham (will someone feed that poor little chick, feel sorry for her ) and a scraggy neck is soooo..not a good look .
Thing about size 10 is tho' , it used to be known as a size 12- the fashion fags have sized evrything down-Why, Its a begger when buying-have to return.
Stop bluddy mucking around with the sizes.

I'm 6'7" (ish) and weigh in at just over 14st! 
Still, I'd say I was average weight.
If I still had the time to go fencing, play sport or hit the gym with any regularity, i'd say I probably be athletic... but chocolate and the pub keep getting in the way!  | |

No one especially women should subscribe to the notion of average. Just be your brilliant self everyone and average will mean a h*ll of a lot more than it does currently.

Can't believe i wrote something as crass, obnoxious and egotistical as that, even if it is true haha - at almost 5'9" I once weighed 9 and a half stone and looked horribly ill and far too thin...won't tell you what I weighed at my heaviest, u'd all be shocked but it does make a huge difference to the way people percieve you, in my experience overweight/obese people are totally discriminated against | |

but not a single women could be classed as average!!
and theni ff you start to add in all the other variables like weight, vital stats, nose size, eye colour etc, it just becomes farcica. lin terms of comparatives for people it is a meaningless and useless term which tells us nothing
