If your freind knows what kind of person he is ask her what she knows about him, then make up your mind. A lot of people can get their teeth fixed are get false teeth later down the line. Most of the time its a matter of money. | |

I wonder how many women have turned me down or stood me up because of my teeth.
I raced dirt bikes and was into martial arts and boxing in my younger years.
I lost one due to a bad root canal, the one next to it is chipped.
They are nowhere near straight.

Posted: 6/17/2006 2:48:15 PM | My teeth were mutilated when I was 18 by a crooked dishonest dentist that fled town and quit dentistry. I went a stretch without dental insurance and could not afford to repair the damage he had done for a while. Decay setting in and teeth busting off was not pleasant but until I could afford to fix them I didn't have much choice. Recently I had them all fixed, it cost 5 grand to put them back together luckily my current job offers dental insurance that covered about half the cost. They will continue to rot again until eventually I will have to have them replaced with dentures but at least I can smile again without being self-conscious. You can be a very clean good person with bad teeth and bad teeth does not always mean bad breath it usually means you don't have dental insurance. There are low lifes that have rotting stinking teeth from lack of hygiene or drug use but in that case their teeth are usually not your first clue to stay clear. I dated a woman with beautiful teeth who brushed, flossed and gargled 3 times a day and then some and she still had bad breath often. I know what it is to be kissed with bad breath yuk, but some people just have that problem at least she was aware of it and would usually brush her teeth and gargle before any serious kissing.  | |

-He may be a drug user
-He may not care about his teeth (or his health, or your relationship, or anything else for that matter...).

Thats more compliments about guys than I have heard on here all week! Have him drop some scratch and get his grill fixed... tada!!! Now you have a NICE GUY with a mug you dont have to create topics about. Its like my grandmother always said, beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone. You found someone you dig. Cosmetics are only a few visits from forgotten, but all that other stuff on the inside... thats years and years and years of work.
Drop subtle hints, like a few tubes of Colgate, couple rolls of floss and a computer generated coupon for your local dental office. Its not like he has an arm growing out of his head. He just forgot that teeth should look white. | |

I thinks it's gross myself and have had lots o work done on mine! but gumline decay while it can be a product of drug use it's not always the case if he had receding gums that could have been it any which way he needs to get repaired or yanked! gum line cavities are near impossible to deal with and it's lots more work for the dentist than the standard type of cavity.. | |

Look, Im not for dating people who cant take care of themselves either. I just cant stand a society that looks at outward appearance and figures that makes a complete package. Its a sick barbie mentality that leads to failed relationships and stupid kids. Prom queens typically end up being some secretary in a trailer on a construction site working next to Luke the quarterback as he delivers water all day long. Looks are great, but they need to be considered along side the entire package. She said he was a nice guy. Based on all the worthless men this site talks about... I would say she is one leg up on most here... | |
