I think you need to at least explain to him that this is something that really turns you on and maybe ask him to role play one night and even if he feels funny maybe getting into a role where you are the bad girl who need to be spanked and he plays along that the sex would be incredible. Maybe he has a fanticy that he would like to try and by being open it will help.
