The description fits me to a T, unfortunately for my love life! I wonder if it's possible to get an astrological transplant? lol | |

My Vulcan side is telling me that "the basis of astrology is illogical Captain". But...
My Kirk side is saying "But you...yourself...display many...Taurus traits. And your friends...they too...display many...of the traits...of...their star sign" (you have to read this in a voice of William Shatner sort of way)
And somewhere in the middle of this conversation, the guy in the red shirt manages to get himself killed.

I am 100% LEO women..LOL not sure if thats grat but it describes me totally... I find other Leos a struggle but so much fun especially in the romantic dept..
Caps drive me NUTTS my hearts been broken both times by Capricorn men...

Posted: 1/10/2008 2:01:40 PM | I am a CAP and I will have to say that most of my life I was skeptical of the sign thing, but with all things I try to find an explanation/theory that fits the data. The manager of the French soccer team used the zodiac to manage the types of players on the team. No scorps, one leo, I think. Anyway the theory rests on the fact that the alignment of the moon and the stars provide a great influence over how the earth works, ie tides and the like. So who is too refute that the gravitational forces may not play a role in the development of a person. Does the alignment of the stars influence the types of genes that get turned on or off in a person? Who knows, but it is a testable theory or will be in the future.

I tend to believe in the personality traits of the zodiac......yeah I am a gemini and can relate to most of it....But as for the daily stars...Isn't it going to be a little crowded if all the Geminis are going to walk into a fish and chip shop and meet our soul mate?....Not to mention the wait time for a piece of crumbed fish......Heheh | |

Posted: 1/10/2008 8:44:35 PM | My horoscope says that I would make a good pair with another Pisces,,,,or with a Cancer. And then Taurus. Since I have yet to date any of those,,,I guess I dont know. The sexual attraction from a Pisces to Scorpio is true though,,,but they are not compatible in the long run. Per the horoscope and it's true. My two serious relationships were with Scorpios,,,now I wont date them. Or haven't dated one I should say. Where is my Cancer????

had to laugh when they found a new planet and had to adjust all their charts to take account of it and then when it was decided that pluto was not a planet after all and had to change all the charts again
almost as if only planets have an affect and not any of the planet sized lumps of rock in the outer reaches of the solar system
why not use comets as well, guess too hard to track ?

Posted: 1/13/2008 12:01:04 AM | Zodiac signs? As equally as interesting as the chinese animals for the year of birth, (though they don't have a day to day horoscope to my knowledge).
I'm a very typical tiger sign (chinese system), and gemini, so there is something to it. I've also noticed how sexual scorpios are, ignorant and stubborn taurus are, and how Leos love to be the centre of attention.
The fact that there are billions of other people out there who share the same 'sign' means that if you read your daily horoscope in the paper, its some rambling load of baloney that is aimed at billions of other people not just yourself, and I can bet you we all have very different days to each other!
The more crucial aspect is where and when was you born, the daily horoscopes in the paper don't take into consideration the formation of stars above your head the day/hour you was born, and that will vary wherever you are in the world. So location is relevant in my eyes.
Astro.com do actually get take this all into consideration (time and place of birth) and get really deep with it all, and varies from hour to hour and place to place, it re-sparked my interest in astrology anyway. | |

Posted: 1/13/2008 7:39:40 AM | I think that your "sign" does say some things about you. I don't really think it has anything to do with "the stars", but a baby born in, say March is just developing self awareness in the summer months, when it's more likely mom and dad are taking it outside, and to a bunch of different places, which would explain why the average Aries is an outgoing go-getter.
A baby born in July (me!) is just starting to become self aware during the winter months, when people are more likely to be staying in, and the holidays generate lots and lots of family time. Which may explain why the average Cancer is so focused on home and nurturing.
I usually check and see what someone's sign is, just because I have observed that signs that are supposed to get along according to the astrologers do seem to, and vice versa. You do have to look at people on the cusp a little differently - someone that's a gemini but born 2 days before it goes over to cancer may be more of a cancer, and someone born 2 days after the start of cancer may be more of a gemini, as an example.
To sum up, without going into the "why" of it, there does seem to be some truth to the theories about which signs match best with each other, and to the descriptions of the typical personality of the signs. | |

Makes me wonder how people even meet anyone compatible for them.? I haven't had success so far.. | |

Scorpios are supposed to be compatible with the other water signs, Pisces and Cancer, and I've always found that to be true.  | |
