Posted: 1/16/2008 8:00:26 AM | I used to think it was crap but the older I get the more I think there is something to it. When I read a description on a Taurus it fits me to an exact T down to almost every exact little detail, even my errogenous zones. How can a stranger/computer possibly know THAT about me?
When I first came here to POF some one turned me onto this and since I have checked out my dates and compatibility and its been right on. For lack of finding out incompatibility down the road it seems a very valuable tool in dating.
It's certainly not the end all. I don't even have all the signs memorized or nothing like that so I am not hardcore into it. To the doubters and disbelievers go here and enter your exact birthdate, time, place, and get a free detailed reading and see how it fits. It's pages long and mine is dead on.

Posted: 9/20/2008 2:16:22 AM | | well.. i have nver given it any thought till i split up was sombody and did post-relationship compatability test.. whata nightmare.. anyway, i have read more than a few longish desctiptions of Gemini's and they always seem to fit me to a tee.. and i do read others... i agree with the earlier post that newspaper two sentance daily ones are total trash, i used to read out the wrong ones delib to my sister and she would get all excited about what was gooing to happen to her that day or nodd how true is was... so anyway.. im off to find a Libra lol | |

Though, as far as i am concerned i have found some true descriptions. For instance i am " pisces" , for me the zodiak descrition is true; Also the compatibility report shown in the horoscopes it is true for me ,but it is useless anyways ,because i just can't program myself to fall in love with my suggested matches.  | |

if you're going to look into astrology for compatibility, you need to delve deeper than sun signs.
what she said.
and this is because the sun sign is only a roll you're trying on in this incarnation. the soul essence is found in your moon and rising signs. for compatibility mars, venus, juno and the house positions should be considered, as well as sun moon aspects between you and your prospective partner. a sun/moon trine is a very good aspect for instance... i could go on... i'm true astrology nerd...
i wish i'd checked for compatibility with my ex. i didn't until it was too late, and every single negative aspect, including nitty gritty details about our physical incompatibility was completely spot on. our composite chart truly didn't have a single redeeming feature... ugh...
not making THAT mistake again!!! hence my nick on here, and hence my request for air signs not to contact me  | |

Posted: 9/24/2008 11:22:46 PM | It really makes little sense to me that there could be exactly twelve basic types of people given the number of permutations of the human genome (3 billion DNA base pairs). This would be like suggesting that there are twelve types of snowflakes rather than an almost infinite variety of unique snowflakes.
If by some incredible-and-yet-unexpected behavior of biology there *were* only twelve basic types of people, then can anyone attempt to explain how your *birth date* of all things could affect your basic type?
Think about it. By the time you are born you already have your DNA well-established for a period of about nine months. *When* you are born really wouldn't matter so much with respect to your DNA as *when you were conceived*. Now if you wanted to promote some idea that the moment of conception depended upon the alignment of the stars at that moment then I'd still laugh because the mother could be physically lying in a number of orientations on the bed, for example, and so yet again... the alignment of the stars makes no sense in all this.
So literally, there's nothing worth thinking about since there is no scientific basis for the signs of the zodiac. It's just a bunch of made-up stories from a few thousand years ago to explain "the heavens" by people who didn't even understand that our own sun is also a star. | |

Those who draw up zodiacs are using outdated charts. Instead of being a Virgo-as the daily newspaper says I am-I am really a Leo...due to The Precession Of The Equinoxes. Your zodiac can not be right if it is based on wrong signs. | |

Other than that, I pay no attention to the zodiac meanings... | |
