Posted: 6/19/2006 10:27:20 AM | It's a matter of personal taste, I think. For me, I prefer long hair. This doesn't mean I find a gorgeous girl who's short haired un-gorgeous, but I feel long hair adds something.
Mind you, there are men who have the opposite preference.

i agree that short hair is good. Nobody should reject soemone because of the length of their hair or if they have any at all. ANYONE who judges and rejects someone on that is an insecure, shallow-minded spinless person who don't know what they want and they shouldn't be dating because they don't have the formula to make things work.

I prefer having longer hair if a woman doesnt like it too bad I do and the way I look and the choices I make about it are for ME first last and always.

I don't know how long your hair is at the moment, but while you wait for it to grow back, find a hairstylist who is good with short hair. Have it cut and style every other month, short hair needs much more maintenance then long hair to keep looking good. Try different way of styling it and have fun with it. This way you'll go through half a dozen different styles before they get long enough to tie back, and maybe you'll find the perfect style for your face and attitude. | |

Exactly....well said, and obviously same goes for women, if they judge a guy on the hair or whatever they are not worth it and are superficial and it speaks volumes about them and the lack of character they have.

Do what you want with it and also no one should have to do anything to get a partner, especially as it relates to hair, and body cosmetics. Thats what i always mean on these forums that OTHER people cannot be so shallow because it is obvious that THEY are shallow if they judge you or anyone for such a silly thing like hair or lack there of.
I mean lets try to keep things in perpective. The OP has proven to me from the little info i have about her from the forums that she does appear to have some character and I commend her for that and that alone would attract me to a person.

I am a man who (like most) love long hair, it is sexy and feminine and I notice most of the women who have spoken against long hair are the ones with short hair.. long hair gives a woman such fabulous options, when woman with long hair steps out of the bathroom ready to go out you never know what you will see, long sensual, or cutsy ringlets, rolled up with an elegant flair, a school girl pigtails flirty look, a pony tail pulled through the back of a ball cap etc etc etc etc etc .. a woman with short hair you get what you get time after time always the same with no options (like a guy) a woman with long hair can look as cute and sexy as a woman with short hair by imitating that particular look but a women with short hair has no options ... I cannot for the life of me figure out why a woman would want to eliminate all those optional looks although I do have a tendency to believe that many many women dress for other womens opinions rather than a man's .. what would you ladies say if the man in your life wore a beat up old ball cap all the time .. to work to weddings all the time the exact same look .. maybe not a perfect analogy but I am sure you get the message..I would be willing to bet that 95% of all "HONEST" men will say they prefer long hair and of the 5% left they are probably married to domonant short haired women LOL

I dont think for the most part you are seen as unattractive, its very odd, different for a woman today not to have somewhat long hair, and we fear what we dont understand. Plus there is a lot of association with someone with short (buzzed hair) Skin heads, freaks, That Angry Irish singer?? What was her name????? Im okay with it, how ever I may not approach someone with a buzz cut. I do hope your mom is recovering well...And I support ya..
