I noticed a difference in the way men responded to me as well when I cut my hair as you will see in my pictures, and even though it hurt my feelings at first, as time has gone by I realised the different look attracted different men in different age categories. Everyone has different tastes, women and men alike; Some like hot and sexy, others like the athletic look.. t'is the way of life.. and to those who were brazen enough to tell me the long hair was better my reply was "Hey - I've just gone from hot and sexy to Fun Lov'n"... I'm still smiling!!! | |

Love to run my fingers through it.
But for what ever reason I can't help but like bald too...
Not on a lady unless you are Annie Lenox (sp?) or my mama who is in the middle of her cancer and she is beautiful bald

I have never read a profile that said the person they want to meet must have long hair but I have read some that wanted slender, muscular, athletic type women. If you can't see past the hair and the weight, then you don't deserve me.
LOL..... I thought this was a thread about men's hair...... and I definitely prefer it long AND say so on my profile. It's not an absolute, but sure is my preference. I think we're all allowed to like what we like. So all you women who like men to have short hair, just send the long haired ones my way. 
But to the person who started the thread...... hey, what you did was really a loving thing to do and if someone doesn't like it.... then they probably really were not a very good match in the first place. | |

Posted: 7/10/2006 10:42:28 AM | | Dont take it personally.You dont check out old men or overwieght men more then likely.Your hair will grow back and you can do some creative things with it.Alot of guys like short sassy hair.And who knows you might like it on the short side.You can always wear a wig and explain latter or whatever.Life goes on slow when your young.Its not going to be a lifetime even if it seems it.Hang in there.If a guy doesnt like you while your wearing a wig when you tell him your story he is a real looser. | |

She actually had cancer treatment and lost her hair. She was a sexy bald and one-breasted as she was when I first met her. Don't give up on you, or on men. Posted: 7/11/2006 11:12:11 AM | OP - such a wonderful show of support for your Mom, she raised you right! A girl in my building shaves her head and she has a live in bf. She wears a lot of bandanas (to protect from the elements) and she also has a nice wig she wears when she feels like having hair.
Myself, I've had very long hair for the past 20 yrs (to my knees at this point) When I was younger I had lots of women treat me bad cause they were jealous that guys loved my hair.
Then when I was pregnant, people kept telling me to cut it off cause I'd never have time to care for it. Well, my baby is 9 yrs old now and my hair grows on...

I wont try to speak for other men, but for me there is just something about running my fingers through a long beautiful head of hair, color is not so important. Just healthy hair, with no hair spray or goop to make it stiff I love it all natural! | |
