Myself I like men who have long hair that is well kept, I find it very attractive and incredibly sexy. I've had my hair long for years, almost to my waist. And then I got it cut short, short and to my surprise I was asked out almost immediately by two guys in their 20's. I told them I don't date guys that are younger than my son!!

and i always wonder the same thing.
I know i have no problem with it but at first
it is a shock.
it is something you do not want to be mean about but often
when i am used to seeing a woman with long lovely hair and
next day she chops it all off it never makes any since
and nobody is ever prepared for it.
Thats why it is important to you and makes people look like the fools that they can be.
but since yo have no photo it is also hard to tell.
Long hair is important cause thats what girls on tv/movies/ or porn have. | |

I had my hair pretty short for a long time, I just got it chopped off one day and it worked out so well I kept it like that a couple of years. It was about 2 inches long. Men seemed to like it just as much. The good part about hair is that it grows back. You should just grow yours out a little if you don't want it long, it will look nice unless you want to keep it shaved for your Mom, which is really nice of you. I couldn't do it. Hair is definitely an asset.

I like the hair that looks good on the girl. What that is varys by the woman and clothing (or lack thereof). I've dated women with hair to the small of their back, and women with a pixie cut, and loved both styles. | |

I love it short...military style. So since I find long hair such a turn off then I guess men are entitled to feel the same about a woman's hair...but I'm sure lots of men like short hair on woman.
As for the reason for chopping your hair...very commendable...I hope your mom is feelin better. I have cut my hair as well as cut friends hair for 'locks of love'...but never shaved...I'm not that brave but kudos to you sweetness. TC | |

My hair is back where I like it at the small of my back. My man has asked me to never cut it, he loves it that much. For many fellas, beautiful hair is a must. It was a different sort who were attracted to me when it was shorter.
Something that makes my man so happy and is so simple to keep, I'll keep. He loves to wash and brush it for me, kiss it, stroke it, and sleep in my hair. | |

in the mean time the shaved head thing shouldnt be a topic of worry because its only a temporary state of being and in the grande schemd of things means very little. so, why bring it up. now, if it was a case where you were permanantly bald for medical reasons or some other means that results in no more hair on the head ever, then you may feel compelled to bring it up.
as for hair itself, i once heard somewhere that hair is an extension of sexuality. prolly explains why some men like it longer, why everyone has such issues over having it at all and how long or short they like it, and why when it comes to cutting it that its harder for some than others to lop off even just the split ends. | |
