I'm a natural blonde myself and have dyed my hair red because I've always heard these guys say they'd take a redhead over blondes any day too.
I'm still kind of shaking my head over this one...why would you dye your hair a color just because you think the guys are going to prefer it???
Besides that, if you're so STUCK on thinking ALL guys prefer brunettes then why oh why didn't you go with brown????? | |

Posted: 6/24/2006 8:55:20 PM | | hi, i didnt read any of the other posts on here on this topic, but MY knowledge is actually because brunettes, instinctually to men, are healthier looking than redheads and blonds...not that us redheads and other blond girls ARE any less healthy, just that because of human animal nature, brown hair of medium longish length is more appealing because for some reason it gives off a better child bearing and mother vibe......all i know is that was a scientific study i read at some point and never forgot.....hope that helps, if no one else has already said it..... | |

There may be scientific evidence backing up the statistic, but at the end of the day it's still just that. Maybe it has something to do with strong genes - genetically brown hair and blue eyes are the stronger genes and the others are recessive. Maybe therefore they're the ones we're drawn to...you never hear a girl say she wants a bald guy with grey eyes and a moustache - they always want someone tall dark and handsome.
I don't like to limit myself - if I find an intelligent funny blonde that turns my head and can hold my attention when she's talking, then I'm hooked, just the same way as if she were brunette or a red-head. | |

I have class, education, beauty and substance if you need help go see a shrink....your so unreal and everyone else who says that men prefer brunettes, it is all just based first off on attraction to the other regardless of haircolor, everyone has a preference and is entitled to that. I think if your hair color is an issue and you need to change it for a man then you are not secure with yourself or this would not even be a Question.....

I myself am a brunette in the winter and in the summer my hair almost goes red, I wouldnt change my hair colour for no one I like it.
So guys listen up if you want a blonde you should be prepared to do the dyeing yourself | |
