On this planet, some never do , some rarely do, some do. It's a waste of time, energy and vitamins. Get a mate; problem solved.
Dont justify whether something is right or wrong. It is different for each one of us. Is being lusty right or wrong? In the monotheist religions, isn't it one of the ten commandments not to be?
Sex is mental. It's up to the individual to test his/her mental strength or his/her lust meter levels. So if someone in this thread say they never did it, it is true. At least I believe them. | |

Some guys don't masterbate either. I have a hard time believing that, but frankly some people don't have a high sex drive, or get enough sex where they don't need to. I wish I was that lucky. ;)

And no there parents didnt drill it in there mind that it was a bad thing to do nor do they have a religous background. They just don't. Your own hand or toy just doesn't cut it for some of us. I think this is a tendency where sexual freedom is highest. It has NOTHING to do with having sex or drive at all. You are taught these things, it is seeded in your mind. Some people also prefer to wait for good dreams.
In these matters there is no difference between the genders either. | |

Not having this problem I can only guess it would affect their sexuality. Being comfortable with yourself is important when being intimate, especially if you want to guide a man on how to pleasure you. | |

Posted: 12/13/2006 9:59:10 PM | I think as each generation comes along, the stigma is becoming less and less of an issue. In this day and age it's just accepted that this is what human beings do and there is nothing wrong with it. Embrace it.
I have found some women who 'don't do it' tend not to because they just haven't figured out the best way to get themselves off. Usually once a woman learns (yes, most have to actually learn -- as opposed to guys) how to orgasm from masturbation, they usually don't say 'it does nothing for me' and they usually become quite avid participants.. both as a single person or in a relationship.
I have had discussions with friends and when I ask the women who 'don't' if they can get themselves off easily.. they usually reply.. 'no' or 'only a guy can do that for me'.
When I ask the women who 'do' if they can get themselves off easily, the answer is usually a 'HELL YEAH!'
The old saying is true... nobody can truly please you.. until you can please yourself.

What?... I don't follow you here. Masterbation has everything to do with a high sexual drive, why else do you do it? Boredom? Periodically.. I'll give you that, but I was speaking completely on a general basis that I'm sure there are more men that masterbate than women, and I know a few of both gender that I've acertained do in fact, not masterbate for reasons such as religion, personal preference or just plain get laid all the time, and have no need for it.
Granted, masterbation has been stained in the past with being wrong but lets face it.. that was like, when my parents were younger. Times have changed sir.. ;)

I don't masturbate. I have tried, does nothing for me.. in fact, it tends to hurt - my doc says it happens sometimes that a woman's clitoris can be TOO sensitive, and it causes discomfort more than anything else. *shrug* So I don't do it. MEN turn me on. Not inanimate objects or my own fingers. MEN. LOL!
