| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/2/2007 7:29:11 PM | CW35...below you will find the answer to your question: [Venus: With that negative attitude and no picture, I'm surprised anyone would email you at all. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm among a lot of women on dating sites which is why any emails I send are few and far between. I assume you would complain if it was too long, written funny etc. It doesn't matter what any emails say. It's a way to meet someone eventually. Only then can a proper judgment be made. I'm just glad I'm not so narrow minded when it comes to emails.]
And this was your response to my inquiry about why do guys don't take the time to actually read a person's profile before sending a message of interest to someone.
But this is only one example of your scorn for women in general. I have seen more of the same type of responses from you to other posters on the forums.
But in your defense...I may have misunderstood a bunch of your similar postings...
Yeah...it must be ME! lol
Cheers...and chill out hun!

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/2/2007 7:46:16 PM | Venus: That post was directed at you for something mean you said about the guy who started the thread if I remember correctly. I didn't realize that you were "all women". Not only that, it in no way shows any disdain for women, it only shows a disdain for the negative attitudes about e-mail. I'm pretty sure any other posts that are argumentative aren't about women in particular but with individual people. As I said before though, once you disagree or refuse to completely comply with some women's points of view they start screaming "woman hater". Bullies hate it if you fight back. I guess in your case the term may actually apply to me, however. | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/2/2007 11:18:52 PM | Venus: That post you bracketed does refer to an original post of a thread you started. Surely you realize that it wasn't a positive thread towards those contacting you(assuming mostly guys). Thus the appearance of a negative attitude.
CW: Dude, check who started that thread! I don't think it was a guy. I understand/agree with some of your points but would definitely present them differently. But you seem to enjoy it!
Maybe you guys can take it offline??
Oh..still not a big fan of tattoos on women.
Games over...west coast games are killers!!
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/3/2007 5:07:17 AM | Like I said: Tattoos on women can be a good thing... On the other hand, guys with negative attitudes...not so much.
And no, I have never said anything mean about any guys. Unlike CW35 who called me 'Narrow minded and Mean'.
Please, go back and re-read my comments on that thread carefully. The thread was about getting 'Hi wanna chat?' messages from people that don't take the time to read someone's profile....e.i. they are just interested in the pic.
I do love men...I really, really do! (um...except the angry ones) Peace. xox

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/3/2007 8:22:26 AM | | I think it's funny how someone will make a negative comment and when they get one back, suddenly the other person is the negative and angry one. If I said you were narrow minded and mean then that was probably my honest opinion at the time. Maybe you were. Everyone is at some point. I get a laugh out of how so many on here act like they are positive about everyone and everything 100% of the time. That's so phony. At least I'm honest when I'm mad as well as when I'm happy. I don't really trust people who claim to be okay with everything all the time since those are usually the people who stab you in the back the quickest. It becomes obvious rather quickly, after being in the forums, who these people are. | |

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/3/2007 8:32:22 AM | ^^^^ and that has what to do with Tattoos on Women????? | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/21/2007 4:53:30 AM | I think to give an opinion on tattoos on a women it would have to depend on: The woman The tattoo The positioning og tattoo The # of tattoos already gained I am a guy who likes tattoos after all i have the harley davidson logo covering most of the back of my neck! lol For a woman i think a tat can be sexy or not it would all depend on the things listed above.I think for a woman to wear a tattoo attractivley it would have to be a professional job, something that reflects on who they are and so on.But to sum it up YES i think a woman should be able to get a tattoo(or more than one)and wear it with pride as long as it is tastefull. RIDE ON! | |

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/24/2007 2:04:57 PM | | Saw a news report the other night about tattoo removal. It appears to be an increasing trend in that a lot of folks are getting theirs removed. It also stated that the majority are females. Appears that what seemed like a good idea at the time changes as they get older. | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/24/2007 3:01:06 PM | | Da leafs its about time these women are coming to their senses lol . Why women would want to look masculine and mar their wonderful bodies is beyond me. I am a guy and I would never get one of those things . Women that honestly believe men prefer them with tattoos are simply delusional. I can actually deal with piercings because thats not permanent , tattoos are a big noooooooooo . | |

Well, based on the news report, they aren't permanent. They can be removed(via laser). The Dr. in the news report did a pretty good job. You could barely tell the tattoo was there. There was some scarring but not too bad.

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/24/2007 6:50:09 PM | | a tattoo is, today, by most, considered a form of art. a tattoo is an expression of ones personality.......i think they are sexy | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/26/2007 1:55:08 PM | I agree, tattoos are a form of art and expresses one's views or significant change in one's life. I myself have 2 tattoos and both are an expression of points in my life. My last tattoo i got was a huge milestone in my life when i left my husband and began my new life, and i might add a much happier life, it is an expression of that period in my life. The tattoo is part of a person. | |

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/26/2007 2:20:55 PM | Can't we just say whats good for one person isn't good for another and it's all about personal choice.. and "in the eye of the beholder"... I'cv seen some women you looks great with tats and some who should never og gotten them, but thats my view not theirs, just in the way I have 9 tats myself and I think they look good for me. Doesn't matter that anyone else says about them as long as I personally like the choice I made to get them.

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/26/2007 3:33:20 PM | I agree with professor random danger. And its not just women that tats can look bad on I have seen some men who shouldn't have gotten any either. I myself have 5, 4 of which I have designed, and in Aug. I am flying to Miami for my sixth. I can't wait | |

|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/26/2007 4:08:46 PM | Damn you know if I wasn't planning a trip to opetawawa this Summer in July I'd for sure go there to get Ink... but unless i hear back from old freinds who still live there I won't be going to loosk like a change in plans may be in order... I did want Kat as my first choice but my second is for sure a toss up between Ami and Garver...although tempted to get something little by Yoji as well.

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/27/2007 9:07:35 AM | I have a tatoo on my right hand by my thumb . Had it when I was like about 17, grounded for life it seemed! LOL! Something to do with the Native in me, my dad has the same one, same place on his hand. I tried soap and water to take it off, didn't work! j/k | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/28/2007 5:32:37 AM | | I have 4 tattos.. I have one for my dad that passed away one for my mom, one that is the sixe of a toonie and one for myself. they are on my shoulder blades and on my calfs.. I think that they are tastefull, placed nicley and they are not huge. I love tats on guys and I love them on girls too. It is a way to express yourself and it is a good way to document/rember what was going on in your life when you got them. | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 5/28/2007 8:48:41 PM | I am so jealous Miss Kitty! I would love to inked from either Kat, Garver or Nunez... not necessarily in that order. My former neighbor and tattoo dude in NG met Nunez at a tattoo convention somewhere and he's been instructed that next time he needs to kidnap him and bring him back for me.

Not all men don't like tattoos on women, and to them I say "Hey that's fine" not everybody has to like them, nobody HAS to like them except for me.

| Tattoos on Women Posted: 9/16/2007 3:21:43 PM | There are a lot of women on this thread that like tats. There was also a study done that says unemployed men get more women and action than employed men.....
I was thinking about getting a tattoo of an unemployment check. What do ya think?
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 9/16/2007 3:33:36 PM | | Maybe the unemployed get more dates because they can spend all of their time pursuing them. lol | |
|
| Tattoos on Women Posted: 9/23/2007 5:49:45 PM | Tattoo's on women aren't bad as long as they get something that means something and they are completely passionate about it as opposed to getting one to 'fit in with the pack' or to get one to have a false sense of 'independance'.
I myself don't care for tattoo on my body. But have seen some pretty good ones on other people (and bad ones)
