Posted: 6/23/2006 1:21:59 PM | I'm a bit surprised that no one has mentioned that most of us woman here are single mothers. We can't just run out and meet someone at the drop of a hat. If a man can't take enough time to get to know me and plan a meeting a few days in advance then how interested is he?
It isn't always about you possibly being an ax murderer....it's also about the fact that I have a life and I just might be busy with something else.

Posted: 6/23/2006 2:37:26 PM | Ok I see where you are coming from and I'd like to talk a little bit. Maybe a few e-mails find out what we have in common and possibly who you are.
I being an honest person would hope that everyone I speak to is being honest as well. I being a realist know that this is not always the case but I'd still like to think that best of everyone until proven wrong.
I don't expect to do this for months. But sometimes you can meet someone and have physical attraction and get along for the first while but then you find that you have nothing in common and nothing to talk about at all. At least if you chat on here and e-mail you know that you will have things to talk about in person. If it can't even work together in this environment, sure the physical might be there, but ther is nothing else to base a relationship on.
Chatting for a week or so won't kill anyone. Then coffee, and so on and so forth. I've met a few people on here that I'd love to meet in person now because they are such great people and now I'd like to know them in real life not cyber world. We'll see what happens. | |

If the chatting is going well after a few times, then sure a public meeting is great. If they offer the first meet at their place then no thanks..LOL | |
