| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 9:07:21 AM | I'd like to add my 2 cents worth in the thong discussion.....as a man who enjoys looking at women...i think they're great! They look very sexy.....
NOW....I'd like to add a strange offshoot to this discussion....have ANY of you women out there, ever had a problem with how a guys tucks ......'it' ? (to the left, to the right, straight up or straight down)........the reason I ask...is that my ex (ex no. 2)....always threw a hissy fit every time we got dressed up to go out.
Well, I tuck 'straight up'....and for no reason other than that's what's always been more comfortable.....it's just my habit/preference.......but she always threw a fit about it...claiming that I was trying to show off a big 'bulge'......(not true, it's simply a comfort issue).......so, I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem/issue with anyone before?

Urban Outfitters's undies are pretty comfy too though - the best are called "boy briefs" or "cheeky boyshorts"; they're a hybrid between men's & lady's undies. Almost like guy briefs, only cut for us and no itchy elastic band around the leg holes.
Oh, it's kind of gross, but the point of underwear in general is to keep your pants from smelling bad as fast & being able to wear them more than once between washes. Underwear also helps keep moisture in check.
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 10:43:20 AM | Im sorry but I dont wear underwear and I assure you that my pants dont stink after I wear them. That is the purpose of soap and water and bathing daily. As far as keeping moisture in check, underwear also increases your chances of yeast infections and UTI's.
I would much rather wash my clothes then get a yeast infection or a uti.

She should have been happy about the fact that you had a "bulge..."

| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 10:46:28 AM | | lol. I have to agree with you. I dont see why it would matter. Most girls arnt oogling there anyway. | |

| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 11:01:21 AM | | hope you dont squish it. would suck to have mashed dancing green bananas in your pocket | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 11:06:57 AM | My worst fear is that it might attract oversize silver-backed gorillas. Speaking of "bananas"...back to this whole "men in thongs" issue.
Is it just me, but do a MAJORITY of men over 50 find it unseemingly necessary to sport their "man-hammocks" at the most inopportune times... i.e. public beaches, tanning salons...
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 11:09:26 AM | you see man-hammocks at the tanning salons? I thought everyone had their own private room and the majority tan naked.
I dont see why older guys with the pregger bellies feel the need to sport a speedo
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 11:57:05 AM | | I agree with casey.... I don't have a 'pregger' belly yet (I'm getting there quick though) and i think guys should just stick with the shorts.......there's no way i'd been seen wearing one of those speedo's......... | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 11:59:43 AM | | Speaking of shorts what is the deal with guys that let their belly hang over the shorts/pants??? I dont get that. Girls dont do that | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 12:04:27 PM | Oh yeah a speedo... and they always put a potato in their holster!
But back to the tucking thing...
I dont think its anyone business but the Tucker's as to how they position themselves... not even their mates, and I only say this because a woman can never know how a man feels, at least not to himself....
It also has to do with what type of underwear a man is wearing... A thong bunches up the boys and Mr. Happy, Boxers are just like freeballin, I prefer boxer briefs... just the right amount of support and freedom!
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 12:08:53 PM | well..............after several arguments over the whole issue....i finally declared a moratorium on all 'tuck-talk' and told her that if she wanted to dictate (sorry about that pun) how it's hanging....to go grow her own! | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 12:09:54 PM | lol they look the best as well. I dont want to look at a hairy butt in a thong. | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/22/2007 12:12:39 PM | Amen...I think this discussion is making me feel rather peakish... | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/27/2007 3:38:20 PM | | Ok,I think Thongs are very sexy and I like to wear them,I got tons of them,I think granny panties got to go,those should be worn on certain days only | |
|
| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/27/2007 3:48:46 PM | Thongs or Floss, call them what you will, but the trueth of the matter is they are worn by most women because of the "No panty line effect, and the sex appeal they have on most men" Yes I do wear them, but the biggest reason I dont wear the others "Granny Panties" Because I dont have to worry about the lines....... | |

| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 2/27/2007 4:03:18 PM | enjoyed reading your thoughts! lol I personally think they are very comfortable, they don't cut off circulation nor do I have to pick them out. Mine are a nice soft cotton type material pretty in color and some just sexy and different in design. Thong Size does have a lot to do with them, I am a size 6-7 yet sometimes depending on the type of material (does it stretch?) if not, then I buy a larger size. Most of my girlfriends we wear them. Keep in mind, that not all of them are made for comfort, some are made for looks. It's a girly girl thing....I'd like to see a man dance around in them too as you mentioned LOL. No skid marks here. I do see your point though as not every type of thong is comfortable to wear. Try some leather ones if you think thongs are uncomfortable, ... on a hot day or sweaty night of dancing, you will surely go pantyless!! Think I'll go to Electric Boutique and buy some more now that is has been mentioned lol | |

| The Problem With Thongs, What Problem Posted: 8/31/2007 11:58:27 PM | I've been off the forums for a while, but hey there. I'm very anti-thong. Boyshorts are cute, make my butt look awesome, don't give pantylines and I don't need lessons in how to wear them, so I'll still with those, thanks. Plus there's the short skirt issue... I'm not comfortable with my bare butt touching bar stools, car seats, etc - maybe I just wear my skirts too short? LOL
I have thongs - only wear them when I know they won't be on for very long.

| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 10/29/2008 8:58:23 PM | hmmm......I'm deep in thought. I believe that TARZAN is the only man allowed to wear a thong (which was actually a loincloth?) I sincerely hope you don't wear a thong, cowboylar! Can you imagine....3 hours into a trail ride....???? Nope, manly man rules for basic innocent western-wear do not include thongs. And a thong and chaps is the wrongest of the wrong!!!!Just my opinion--Auntie | |

| The Problem With Thongs Posted: 11/5/2008 4:01:55 PM | Hey sweety i am with you...no more thongs...hehehe heck they look sexy to a guy,but we dont require you to wear them. i admit my self they look uncomfortable.,and i am all about comfort. I know guys(including myself) that would LIKE to see panty lines. So go for it girl!!!!BURN THEM ........ JAMES | |
