Posted: 1/24/2007 5:29:31 PM | Hi there, the superbowl party sounds like a great idea. Does anyone have an idea of where we could do this. I'm very new to Indiana and have no clue.
I did attend a singles party at someone's house in Oct. About 40 people showed up, everyone brought something for a snack and whatever they wanted to drink. We even had an Elvis impersonator entertain.
Hope this event happens ... it would be nice to meet some new friends. | |

Gatherings have been held at Stables before, several times, there is another thread about this,....
Realtor1 has brought herself, and friends there several times,....
STABLES is located, 1 block east of Arlington, on Southeastern Ave,..right where it turns into I74,...
Or coming off of 465,..it is a quarter mile west of the 465 exit, on Southeastern Ave.
STABLES is a great place to host any event,...it is a HUGE, CLEAN, FRIENDLY COWBOY TYPE BAR, and has GREAT FOOD,.....STABLES has line dancing, and lessons every Wed's night,..and STABLES has two levels,..and an above the ground outdoors balcony (thats really nice during warm weather)

Stables is closed on Monday's, and Tuesdays's.
If youd like to host a party, or even a Privite Party on Mon, or Tue's,...just call and talk to Jimi Jam,..he's the MAN!
Now,...I have to warn you in advance,...if you want to meet on a night that there is a concert,....Friday & Saturday,....there is gonna be a Cover Charge,..there is most likely going to be a huge crowd, and a LOT OF NOISE !
Sundays is a slow day,....Texas Hold em Poker,...and or Sports TV,...so there you go !
If you want to meet your friends at a nice , clean, friendly bar that serves great food, and drinks,..lets plan on getting together on a nice "Quiet Sunday",..for starters, so we can talk, and get to know one another better,...without having to yell over the noise of the band ?
During the Summer,...Jimi Jam host Poker Runs on Sundays, ..we have FreeFood,...Bike Shows, Music,...the Poker Run is Free,..and there are Cards Drawn, and tickets given out, for free prizes,...its always a fun time.
So come down to meet each other,..and get the bikes out and washed for Sundays Poker Run & Bike Shows,...we have classes and awards, for all types of motorcycles, both Metric, and American.

Ok I posted this last June wondering where there was one around here. It's looks like from the forms it hasnt happened yet,lol.
So I think yeah someone name a date and time and post again.
Everyone should come, you can meet new and exciting people in your area.
Bring single friends along, what do you have to lose ,a fun night out
Ok,....I've expressed that it would be a great place, and way, for people to meet each other at STABLES,....
EXECPT,....now get this,....EXECPT,....on a night when there is going to be a Live Band playing,.....its hard to get to know someone when you have to yell above the noise of the music,....unless you step outside on the above ground patio.
I just talked to "Jim E' Jam" yesterday,...and was told there will be no more Sunday Poker Runs for us Bike Riders,...thats too bad,...because it was a great way to spend a Sunday.
If you've never been to STABLES,....please drop in and checkl the place out,...it is awesome,...the place is huge,...nice, clean, and friendly !

I say we get a HUGE group together and have a great time. We could get a big balloon to meet near so we can find one another. Any thoughts?????  | |

It is located at the intersection of 21st and Franklin Rd. Franklin Rd is between Shadeland and Post Rd. There is no cover if you get there before 10pm. All are welcomed. You will know where to go because we always place a yellow balloon bouquet on the table. We're a fun group who is meeting once a month. If you cant make this one. There will be another on 6/23 but maybe a new location. I will keep things posted. | |

Ok,..after talking to Jim E' Jam,...it appears that Weds nite has included the "STEEL HORSE" nite,...and supposedly there is Karaoke,..from 10 to 12 ?????
Call and ask just to be sure,...and if you are so inclined to go,....contact me, and Id be glad to meet you there and sing a couple of songs,.....
That is as soon as we get back from a West Coast trip out to CA.....hopefully be back around the second week of June. | |
