| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/30/2006 5:09:47 PM | | i just turned 35 and are told i'm 24 25 ...i wish ... but anyways i was in the azores (sao miguel) and noticed the the women 19-30 were very pretty and young looking but the 35-50 look very worn out and aged but you have to take into account that these were farmers and fishermans wife they work hard out in fields and docks but there ages 65 70 still working out there and are doing it with no problems i met one great grand mother 102 years old . i dont think its the food that makes you look younger but it help you live longer . genes and sun are the age looking killer smoking might play a factor aswell seeing that it slows the blood doctors are looking into that for thinning hair (not balding hair) | |

| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/30/2006 5:34:25 PM | | Ever wonder what makes an older man look 10 years younger? lol Positive thinking my friend... both sexes. Think young at heart. Be young at heart. Don't forget that childhood personality that made you what you are today. Smile more than frown. Make people smile. These are tricks to looking and feeling young. Oh yeah - and eat well. lol | |

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/1/2006 5:15:01 PM | | I've been told I look younger, but I'm also short, sometimes I think maybe that's it. I hardly go out in the sun whereas my sisters always did, and they pretty much look their age...it's always been a joke between us. | |

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/2/2006 1:35:29 PM | Can someone pleeeeeze tell me (or show me), what a 30-something is "supposed" to look like??? I mean, someone in their 30's is just not old to me. I don't consider someone old until their like 70. | |

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/3/2006 1:30:23 AM | Genes are the most important single factor......so says Dr. David Suzuki, and I tend to agree with him. My mom is 87 and still has natural red hair (a bit faded from the bright red of her youth) with a touch of grey at the temples. It also helps if you take care of yourself....nutrition is important. As well, I think having young kids keeps you fit and young - mine keep me going all the time.
Of course, no matter how you look, if you have high energy, a love of life and a bounce in your step, you'll always be taken for younger.

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/8/2006 5:22:54 PM | | I look my age and that's ok cuz I'm having fun. If I stayed away from everything that ages me, Gosh!!! life would be boring. Anyways and older gent once told me that middle aged is always a year older than he is....I like that!!!! Mel | |

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/8/2006 6:05:31 PM | I am not sure about the whole "good gene" thing, I look back at some photos of my mom, and my grandma's and heck they look older than they actually are!! lol... I get asked all the time for ID when I go out... the casino, the bar, local pubs, even the beer and liquior store!! I complain about it, and everyone says that I should be thankfull that I look younger than I am, than many women would love to look younger than they are.
The only down side to looking so young is that out in the professional business world I am not taken serious as they think I am just a young kid!!
TLC has that show, 10 years younger, how long till you think they will make a show called 10 years older that I can apply for!!
The only thing I can say about what I have done in my 20's that may of helped keep me looking so young is that I never smoked, never did drugs, didn't do the coffee thing every few hours and I was active... all this is still true today, maybe that is the secret who knows??

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/8/2006 8:07:50 PM | I'm 31, but I constantly get people thinking I'm 25ish. I even get IDed sometimes at bars and the drinking age here is 19(!). I usually say thank you if it's an attractive female who IDed me. I look younger still if I shave off my goatee, but I get nasty zits on my chin if I do... so it stays.
I think it's because I haven't really grown up yet.

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/10/2006 6:26:27 AM | Drink plenty of H20, get some sun ( our bodies DO need small quantities) eat & drink in moderation....and get plenty of fresh air and walking. Who really cares .....we can't stop it only try to slow it down and embrace it. Stay young inside and it will shine through you.
P.S - ( drink a glass of wine with your meals....something that I learned from france)

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/18/2006 6:40:15 PM | | I will be 43 this year and I get told I lot I look like I am in my mid 30's. Drinking alot of water, exercise, rest and a pure diet is the best way to look good. | |
|
| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/18/2006 7:08:58 PM | 1. Genetics - my mother was getting carded into her early 40's. 2. Sunscreen - every day, even when it's cloudy (and I live in Seattle, lol) 3. I don't have kids. | |
|
| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/18/2006 7:13:21 PM | The majority of people don't believe I am 35 to be 36 this year as long as my roots are not showing
I smoke...but I am not up half the night, I don't drink very often and I stay out of the sun. I think it is about lifestyle.

The light there is so nice for photography too.
Miss you B.C.

| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/30/2006 7:17:28 AM | | I think its a combination of genetics and health. I dont drink, smoke, do eat well with a good diet, and at 43 look young enough to get carded. I will never figure it out. | |
|
| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/30/2006 8:50:10 AM | Never smoke... Just a little sun for color... Eat right... and have kids they keep you young. | |
|
| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/30/2006 12:01:24 PM | It's all how you aproach life. I feel so young today, like a teenager with a mad crush. | |
|
| Why don't you age? Posted: 7/30/2006 1:28:34 PM | My nieces and nephews keep me from aging, walks on the beach keep me feeling alive and good friends who kick my tushie to remind me to take care of myself.
Life's too short to worry about aging and wrinkles.
