| women & bras Posted: 9/21/2006 11:01:17 PM | I put my bra on just as you described -- fastening it in the front, then twisting it around back -- then shoving 'em in and adjusting the straps.
And I used to love front closure bras -- but good luck finding a quality one in any larger than a DD.
EDIT: Ooooh, LadyRed, thanks for the tip about the Layne Bryant bra...Just one question: how does it fit? Large? Small? True to size?

| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 4:03:51 AM | | I never understand the need to put it on backwards and then spin it around. It ain't that hard to reach around and fasten. | |

| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 8:31:06 AM | ^^^^.....Good question.....lol And personally, I think more about getting the damn thing off! | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 8:35:21 AM | | I wear mine backwards......It fits better | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 9:09:15 AM | fasten, spin, arms through, bend over, wiggle
And... we don't care if it's made in a way that is difficult for you to get off!
The important factors are... attractive, supportive, comfortable!

| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 9:10:18 AM | | i wore one years ago and dug it out to donate to the meminist movement. | |

| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 10:00:58 AM | Ooo... I can't do that put on backwards and spin thing.. chaffing anyone???
How I do it depends on the bra... basically clasp at back, slide arms in, adjust. I have one convertible one that I love.. and often wear it in a criss-cross at the back... putting that one on is a bit more challenging only 'cause I like to keep the straps crossed, slide my arms in, adjust, fasten, readjust. It's worth it... I call it my *Jessica Rabbit* bra... "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way..." hehehe!!
|
| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 10:03:00 AM | I chuck it on, and do it up from the back. When I get home from work, I throw it off! | |

| women & bras Posted: 9/22/2006 10:10:45 AM | DD- Double Damn!??? works for me!!! Just thought I would add my two cents... I love forums! WildFire65 | |

| women & bras Posted: 9/25/2006 10:20:56 AM | Bras are not hard to get off, with finesse any man can do the two finger pinch and pop those clasps.... I think most guys just tend to get frustrated with small objects | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 9/25/2006 10:37:35 AM | I'm sure they do!
LMAO
OT: I think bras are mostly painful and uncomfortable but that's probably because I never can get a good fit..... since my girls are fine without support, I do without the torture device.... lol

| women & bras Posted: 9/25/2006 4:21:51 PM | So many women do not wear the proper/right size bra.
I always clapse it first, and put it over my head and arms, then arms in, make the necessary adjustment and ta-da. Too much work to catch both ends, clasp it, then twist it around and stuff.

I must be a freak, I take my bras off and on like you would a shirt...up and over my head without undoing! Too lazy to fool with clasps I guess lol!
Don't know about the being a freak part, but I too just put the bra over my head and then situate my girls so they're comfy. My mom initially taught me the spin around, arms through, and placement way and I did that for the longest. The last couple of years I've done the over the head and then placement. To each their own I guess.

| women & bras Posted: 9/26/2006 12:53:04 AM | How do you know how long a man will last in bed?? as long as he takes to get your bra off.. or finally ask you to take it off cuse he cant figure it out...just kidding..
Its hard to find a good bra damnit.. especially one left in your size, and the right color... etc.. I really just dont understand these orange and green bras.. what the hell kinda rainbow bright shirts are these bras made for? Nevermind the pokadot ones also, and the ones with the seams in the center, as if we need a two big lines on our chest showing through our shirts?? haha.. anyways.. id have to agree with saying the bras that open at the frount definatly fit better and are more comfortable and also for longer peroids of time.. the way putting or taking a bra off alone was described a little creepy, well definatly not very eligant... time to figure out new ways to put on or remove the bra now... pfft.. anymore questions?

|
| women & bras Posted: 11/13/2006 11:16:31 AM | | i agree with digirl23. i do mine up in the back as well. but they don't just fall neatly in, it requires a little adjustment once they're there! | |

So many women do not wear the proper/right size bra. its because, especailly here in australia, bras that tagged the same size 'arent' the same size at all, and if youre very specific about it, then youre doomed to live out of just one bras for the whole year before you can find another that would fit!
and to op, i never have problem flexing my arms back, all my life i grew up with enough school uniform practice where the zipping or buttoning are 'always' located are the back, but front closure is definitely easier tho cos at least you can see what youre doing hence less likely to put the button through the wrong button hole.

| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 6:57:43 PM | | WELL, I DO THE BEND & DIP METHOD ALSO, WORKS WELL EVERY TIME!! | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 9:14:50 PM | Most women put on a bra the way you've seen, because it's easier. I did it for 14 years, myself, because it's how my mom taught me. However, as it turns out, this can break the fibers in the bra's band and lead to your bra not fitting well later in time. And front closures don't always work and really shouldn't because the wires should be touching the sternum, and front-closure bras aren't usually made in a way that makes this possible while still giving all the support that's needed.
So, anyway, I had to learn to do the proper way; do you have any idea how hard it is at first to get those clasps to match up in the back without looking? My mom still can't do it.
|
| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 9:18:24 PM | | technically, you ladies shouldn't be *Able* to do that. The band around the ribcage should be tight enough that you can't get it over your shoulders like that; all the support is supposed to come from there, not the straps over your shoulders. I suggest a bra fitting. That's how I learned they actually made an H cup. Aaaaaaaaaaand that they charge extra for it. ;) | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 9:24:04 PM | My question is....
HOW DO YOU GET THE DAMN THINGS OFF?!?
|
| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 9:29:30 PM | Oh sh*t... I just sold mine, burned the one before that one and now waiting for a new purple one. I will let you know, till then I am just hanging out! | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 11/14/2006 9:56:19 PM | A sports bra has to be pulled over my head and stretched over the boobs and then just tidy them in good. A regular bra that snaps in the back I couldn't do the same as a sports bra cause the girls would get in the way so with the regular kind I"m a spinner | |
