| Single parenting Toughest job in the world Posted: 7/10/2008 9:18:18 PM | | I have raised 3 children on my own, 2 boys and 1 girl, have no regrets on staying alone during that time. That was a choice I made. My children especially my boys are good kids who are now young adults . They have not been in trouble, I would have to say the opposite, so do not believe what the stats say. You get out what you put into your children. Now I have the time to find that special person in my life. I have raised the kids the best way I could. It wasn't easily by no stretch of the imagination but I did it with sheer determination and wit. Their father was absent in their lives and then cancer took him. I had a support system to help me through. For the father figure my children had good men in their lives that took up that torch at times but not always, their still turned out ok even with all the losses in their young lives. | |
