| Ever dated someone you met at the supermarket?
Posted: 6/26/2006 11:24:54 AM | | I too have heard the grocery store is supposedly the hot spot to meet single people..and this has driven me to a strange quirk in my behavior..... If I have a legitimate grocery related question and I cannot find a store employee to ask........ I will find the oldest grandmotherly woman I can find to ask my question. I don't want some woman my age thinking I am hitting on her just cause I wasn't sure how to pick a ripe cantaloupe....LOL Guess it is just some residual shyness from when i was young and shy. | |

However, a few weeks back at the local coffee shop I was reading the morning paper while enjoying the usual coffee and this really hot lady stopped by my table and left her number. Needless to say I was totally lost for words but I did the right thing and called pronto (that is once I picked myself up off the floor). Date number four is this weekend so my suggestion would be forget the grocery store and try the coffee shop.  | |

Posted: 6/26/2006 6:49:24 PM | While getting lunch today at the supermarket, I ran into someone I went to school with over 20 years ago. She always caught my eye then, and she still looks great. I walked over to her, and it went something like this...
Me: "Is your name ______?" (I already knew her name, of course)
Her: (smiling) "Yes!"
Me: "We went to school together. I don't think we actually knew each other in school, but I remember you from ______."
Her: "What's your name?"
Me: (introducing self) " ______ ______."
Her: "Oh, I remember you!"
Me: "It's great to see you again!"
Her: "Great to see you, too!"
Me: (walks away, kicking self for not finding out what she's doing these days...)  | |

I met a lady in a convience store,and dated a year before she died of cancer.You never know where u will meet someone.Keep your lookers open. | |
