I have sponcers for my martial arts and competitions stuff, I told them off and ended my contract. 3. Wrote off my house on her name. 4 . Lied to my mom, that we are together when we weren't. 5. Do I need to go on.

| What's the stupidest thing you've ever done in the name of love? Posted: 1/11/2008 3:10:05 AM | LOL.. Where do I start?
I've done quite a few stupid things... But I guess one thing that comes to mind, was travelling from one side of London to the other (a pretty damn big city), in the early hours of the morning, after putting down the phone on my girlfriend (as we were going through a painful break-up)... Only to reach her house to find that it was completely empty
She went to spend time with a friend, and I wanted to emulate the movies (you know, Roy Orbison's "I drove all night to get to you" kinda thing) and surprise her, hoping that by, turning up on her doorstep to say sorry in person, would win her back to me.
Ah well... Next time I'll just use that dam redial button and say it over the phone instead

I was newly online 10yrs ago after mydivorce and met a hot man from Vancouver. After much discussion, he bought me a plane ticket and I traveled from here to there. As I got off the plane, I looked for him and OMG, please God, say that is not him.
Remember Shack, can u dig it? Picture a full length brown leather jacket, a Max cap and leather matching pants. Eeeeeewww baby, but it got better. He took me to his car which was...any guesses???? A Rad caddy with leopard print seat covers. The whole visit ended up being a great story to tell friends re: how stupid I was...lol This guy actually worked for the state dept at one time and I had even checked him out background wise first. Albeit, totally stupid of me, naive, dumb.....all those adjectives fit and of course I learned my lesson.

| What's the stupidest thing you've ever done in the name of love? Posted: 1/11/2008 5:48:40 AM | | I got into a relationship with the man who had been my best friend since we were 11 years old. He was my kids godfather and we were close with each others family. Perfect match huh???? Yeah well I forgot that he had been an ignorant d*ck in some of his previous relationships and was actually surprised that he started acting that way with me. We lasted 20 months before he actually lost his mind and declared that he wanted to kill himself. After much drama, turns out he was just wanted the attention. He ended up taking all of the equipment that we had for our production company and left me with huge bills. He moved to Texas to live with (and lie to) so woman he conned on the internet who is 10 years younger than him. He's nuts and I am relieved that I didn't marry him! | |

| What's the stupidest thing you've ever done in the name of love? Posted: 1/11/2008 11:01:27 PM | When I was young and foolish, I changed myself for someone thinking this would make him love me more and stay with me forever. I wore things he liked, went tanning all the time, colored my hair blond, and became someone I was not. Then I got wise and realized if someone really did love me they would love me for me. So now I am myself and people can either love me or hate me.

work 50-60 hours a week, clean house, take care of her kid, pay all the bills and her car note. Oh, I stuck around after.... well you get the photo...
Why the hell can't I meet someone like this. I'd make sure you were happy and never wanted to leave!!!!
No you wouldn't you'd find someone to pay attention to you. I spoiled my X too and got my walking papers because I wasn't attentive. Leave for work at 5:30 in the morning and work till 10pm and get the cold shoulder when you crawn into bed exhausted.

| What's the stupidest thing you've ever done in the name of love? Posted: 1/11/2008 11:25:43 PM | I was young, ok, very, very, very young… promise me you’ll remember that?
In a late night phone call, my then LDR bf and I spontaneously decided to meet the next day for breakfast … didn’t bother to check out what his plans were for the rest of the day, ASSUMED we’d spend the day together. Blew off work and sleep and drove the 7 hours all night to meet him for breakfast at 7 am. At 8.30 am he said “You are so amazing, I never thought you’d really come all this way just to have breakfast with me. But geez, I’ve gotta run I’m going to be late for work.”
Yep, that’s me… amazingly stupid.

Honey, a mature woman would have recognized your efforts, appreciated them and showed you that she knew. My man wouldn't get the cold shoulder; he'd get his massage (shoulders and anywhere else that he wanted!)
Look for a "real" woman!

……….and when I reach across galaxy, I will miss your company……..OMG I’m still blushing.
