Posted: 6/22/2006 4:00:34 PM | Now i dont want to be a pessimist...damn i can't even spell it. But is everyone on this thread really that loving......i mean the odds would say NO!
But maybe everyone is......which would mean that even though i have met many of people from all walks of life, the nicest and most caring are on POF
Also my father really was'nt that special afterall
p.s i should point out this is sarcasm and by no means anything special, its a crazy thread, but now that i am involved its sucked me in.

I hate the not-soon-enough-to-be-ex for how she makes me feel and because she's the type of person that Polly described so eloquently. She's a professional victim, and she's teaching my daughter well. But that's taken an awful lot of work on her part.
I wonder if it's true that love and hate, being at opposite ends of the spectrum, can't exist without each other. If you don't or can't hate someone, is it likely that you don't or can't truly love someone? | |

I suffer from the Polly Anna syndrome. I have an evil Polly Anna side too though. It just takes a lot to provoke it. I can count on one hand the times someone ever got me really angry. I can get passionate about stuff...just I'm never really angry.
I just don't have the attention span anger requires. It sucks up way too much energy. | |

I have always taught my children that 'hate' is not an acceptable word in our home. If they must use the word, it can only be used in a phrase containing an inanimate object, place or a thing.
Example: You can hate your pants becasue they are too tight now, you can hate the weather because it is raining and you want to go out for a walk or you can hate a big city because of the traffic you can't seem to manuever through....LOL.
BUT never, ever, ever are you allowed to say you hate 'so and so'!
I do not hate anyone! I have a dislike for some people, and perhaps have only felt hatred for an action they may have taken out against me at some point in time. | |

Some people act out of desperation, jealousy or even plain stupidity. No matter how their actions are justified within their own minds, it is still wrong and they will pay for it...some way, some how.......what goes around, comes around.
That is why all us honest and fun-loving people will not be affected by the wrath that follows the 'hate'
