| Why do people wear sunglasses in clubs????
Posted: 6/23/2006 8:55:08 AM | | What do you guys think of girls wearing sunglasses pushed back or set in their hair in bars and clubs? One of my girlfriends and I do it, and it drives our other friend nuts. It is more like a hair accessory and I would never dream of actually pulling them down over my eyes indoors or at night....Opinions on this also please (hope this doesn't count as hijacking the thread, just didn't want to start a new one). | |

Posted: 6/23/2006 9:10:08 AM | There is a time and place for sunglasses. Having them shoved up into your hair means you might not lose them. Fine. Wearing them in a club? How stoned are you? There isn't that many people wandering around in clubs that are blind, or have eye problems. Just the dumb movies glorifying a "gangsta" lifestyle that makes people wish to go out and do this kind of thing.
They may think they look cool...but, most people that I've spoken to just think of them as posers. | |

Sunglasses are not hair accesorys.
You do not need sunglasses in the dark.
YOU DO NOT LOOK COOL!

What I do know is, don't stand inside a bank wearing dark glasses while looking around.
Especially when the armoured car is loading or unloading.
Those fellas have no sense of humor.
well screw their lack of humor, they also dont have much common sense if they get overly focused on the most blatant and obvious examples of who stands out from the crowd, smart crooks blend in for the approach
like he didnt want anyone looking at his eyes...that can be creepy
this is a key point in understanding this matter, some folks want to creep everyone out, it gives them a lot of leeway, it intimidates, it gives them power over,
did you ever have a staring contest with anyone, try having a staring contest when you got bare eyes and the other has dark shades, afterwards ask yourself, what did i just learn about sunglasses?
a person with sunglasses on can look where they want without anyone being really certain where they are looking, this gives them a distinct advantage in a variety of situations, it is especially useful if you have a burning need to be an intimidating bully,
I have had the occasional person ride my ass with threats and intimidations, they invariably wear sunglasses during all the posturing, so then i get the darkest set of sunglasses and put them on my own face, now who's looking at who? | |

I've been to several wedding and funerals in the past couple of months where several of the guests had the poor taste to leave the sets in during the ceremonies. In about ten years the pictures with these in it are going to look as ridiculous as that Michael Jackson jacket and the Flock of Seagulls hair cut does today. | |
