I am really thankfull I never started, I'll never have to experience what you people are going through. Thanks Dad!
My Dad threatened to break all my fingers if he ever caught a cigarette in my hands. He had a temper and believed he would do it! I remember him saying he was going to quit when cigs went up to a $1 a pack. He still smokes today. Maybe someday........... | |

I really want to quit, but I find it difficult, because I always have a smoke on my lunch hour, one on the way home from work, and one in the evening. Obviously there are some days when i smoke less, and there are some days when I smoke more, but generally, those are the three times when I really want one... ESPECIALLY on the way home from work.

I smoke 2 packs a day down from 3 1/2 when i worked construction... im 20 yrs old and ive been smoking since i was 12. i enjoy everything about a cig. plz no lectures im not quitting. u only have 1 life i dont care how long it is im gonna enjoy it. | |

Maybe he should read my earlier post about what happened to a male I know who thought the same thing at his age. Believe me, he wishes he would have quit now! Hard to enjoy life when your impotent! | |

It's only impossible because you don't want to quit. If one day you decide you really want to quit, you will.
In 28 years, this is my third time trying to quit. In 1988, I quit for a month. In 2003, I quit for two days. I'm going into week 10 now. So far, so good. I can be around people that are smoking, I can drink coffee, and I can drink liquor or beer without the craving. | |
