| Sing to Me Posted: 7/6/2008 2:25:16 AM | 7085 Strong Lives 05 July 2008
As he looked into her eyes, he was able to feel her strength To live again, her heart, a soul to endure
For those that are strong, are able to begin again The pain so real, to sleep in her dreams, the man, the current at her mercy
The combination, however, what makes it all worthwhile His love for her, her love, to find, pamper and return
Under the shadow of a distant thunder, every day this new beginning of strong lives A river of blood in pulsation, breathing, because without her, and void of his texture Every moment was empty, but tomorrow, he would look to the heavens and pray once again

| The Moments After Posted: 7/6/2008 9:40:13 AM | The Moments After
She laid on her side, her head on his chest The beat of his heart filled her ears So lost in this moment of peace and love The rest of her world disappears
Her fingers tracing the face of her beloved Memorizing his every curve Staring with love at this face that loves her This love she longed to preserve
She whispered "I love you", hope filled her eyes He smiled, then pulled her in tight He kissed her head gently, she kissed his chest He said "I love you with all of my might"
Bodies still warm from the beauty they lived Their breath still rough and uneven Holding on tight to this sweet fulfillment More love than they'd ever believed in
This moment of beauty, unmatched by another Each now fulfilled in body and soul A simple moment, full of unvoiced longing It is here that they felt themselves whole
The secret place of two fulfilled lovers Known only by those who truly know love Their very own moment of peace and of joy Something others can only dream of
She laid on her side, her head on his chest He laid on his back, pulling her in Complete in the fullness of knowing this joy Complete in fullness without and within

| Her Night Posted: 7/8/2008 11:26:47 AM | Her Night
Silently she shuddered, though a smile still lit her face Fear creeping over her behind her mask of grace
A thin shroud of goose pimples covered her pale skin The cold of night rose deeper, her terror rose within
The witching hour approaching, time to face the night Battle of the legions rose, thus began her daily plight
She slipped away so gracefully bidding her good-byes A thousand demons starving for the terror in her eyes
She started to undress, hoards of eyes upon her skin Waiting to consume her with their voracious, lustful grin
The night man was calling; stirring up his potion Soon she would be theirs, devoid of choice, thought or notion
She laid upon her pillow, it was time to rest her head The evil creeping closer, to destroy her pristine bed
Satin and lace cooled her skin, false promises of rest Most certainly they'd come tonight, though surely she'd contest
Her eyes growing heavy, oh that she'd never sleep The home of her nightmares, where the at the least, she'd weep
Just an hour of peaceful sleep, oh please God make it so They feed and feast upon my soul, please God make them go
Her hands tied, her lips sealed, so very lost in miles of chains Hackling in their frenzy while devouring her remains
Four more hours, three more hours, two more hours, one The faithful sun now back again, for now the feast was done
A small smile fought to light her face, through the waning fear Glorious day now back again, as she wiped her final tear
So many hours to bask in love, in hope, in joy, in sun The night may come religiously, but for now, the torture was done
Until tonight.... | |

| In the Twilight Posted: 7/19/2008 4:55:28 PM | In the Twilight
A Jewelled, starry night, Two sweethearts made their way Blanketed in a corridor trees
Smiles on their faces As the moon lit their path Cheeks caressed by summer's gentle breeze
Shadows in the moonlight Whispers in the dark Laughter heard a million miles away
The lake gently lapping Reaching for the shore A ribboned path of moonlight in its play
Sounds of summer's creatures Stirring in the night Searching for their long-awaited feast
Sometimes drawing closer Her protected from the fright "Was that you or another groaning beast?"
Iced wine and cherries Strawberries and grapes A night filled with many sweet delights
Movies in the twilight Hands held throughout A most memorable night amongst all nights
