Can be a debilitating thing for like 1/2 a day if I don't have company. Thing is, I start making those stupid phone calls in the morning instead of at 3 am the night before, so at least I have that going for me. | |

Posted: 2/13/2009 1:34:09 PM | I prefer sober sex myself. I'm not judging anyone. I had the problem, and I had to stop for myself. I won't disrespect anyone that really can just drink a few drinks. I could not. I stopped getting hangovers when I was drinking, probably because I rarely stopped drinking or ever even slowed-down. I also stopped getting erections when I was drinking too. I'm not sure how many times I was with a woman naked and the mind was willing but the body wasn't ready. Very sad indeed.
Glad to say - I don't have that problem anymore!!! -
I gotta say, that I like SEX a hell of a lot more than I ever liked alcohol.
It's likely (and while I'm no medical professional) that you feel hornier as the alcohol in your system is being replaced by blood again.

Posted: 2/13/2009 6:12:50 PM | I've noticed the same phenomena with myself. There's been a few mornings where I've thought, "how can I feel so shitty yet so horny?" LOL.
On a more serious note:
I do however suggest taking a couple of Tylenols and drinking lots of water before going to bed to avoid the effects of the hangover.
This is absolutely TERRIBLE advice. Do you know why EVERY bottle of acetaminophen you'll ever see (at least here in the US) says NOT to take it if you drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages? Because acetaminophen combined with alcohol produces a toxin that's VERY hard on your liver. Look it up... you're slowing killing yourself if you drink and take Tylenol. Seriously, please look it up. Try ibuprofen.

Posted: 2/13/2009 8:02:46 PM | 62, Exactly, when I'm having that hangover headache and scorched dry throat, I'm not in the mood for love. I just want to shower, brush my teeth, put on some clothes that don't smell like the bar I went to (cigarettes, Yeech!) and sleep it off.
Usually when I wake up, I eat anything and everything and drink water like mad. Then I'm fine and ready to go to work! (Yippee!) | |
