I don’t understand why everybody over there keep saying that European women don’t shave their legs, underarms and even their private areas!
I am European, have been all over Europe and believe me, 96% of us shave our legs, underarms and wax our private area! | |

To me, there is nothing more sexy than a woman with clean smooth skin, (everywhere except her head) and a hint of Chanel #5 just behind her earlobes, so that I can enjoy her scent as I nibble on her soft (hairless) neck.

I'm naturally thin haired and it comes in blond, so luckily I don't have to worry about arm hair / etc, but underarms are once a day, legs are once every couple of days (another great thing about light hair - don't have to shave every day) and "other" is just a regular basis.
and in return, I do expect a bit of maintenance from a man "down there", but I also like a clean-shaven face in general (rare exceptions), and lack of back hair (pet peeve).
as for perfume / makeup, I also think it's overdone. some mascara & clinique "almost lipstick" for when I'm going somewhere, rarely wear perfume (maybe some light smelling body spray on occassion). deodorant though, WOULDN'T GIVE IT UP! no way!

Posted: 6/25/2006 11:39:08 AM | Of course, there are those days when, due to time restriction or laziness, I don't shave. When I see someone with pit hair, I'm automatically disgusted. Same with leg hair. However, I see shaving down below as a matter of proper hygiene. To each his own.
Deodorant free is not the way to be. If you're worried about cancer, use a medicated powder like Gold Bond or something. I think it's incredibly rude to not hide your stink (it's the same as farting in an elevator, but at least that stink will go away). Granted, perfume usage could go down. Especially old lady perfume. Good lord! How much of that stuff do they have to use! (I'm cheap and use rose oil, vanilla extract or peppermint oil, but it does the job.) | |

The weirdest one to me is my own sister...65 years old...decided when she retired that she was done shaving her legs. Now this is a very dark haired woman....BUT, she shaves under her arms! In reality, you may get one hair on your tongue. Simply take your thumb and forefinger and remove it. What's the big freakin deal? It's not about yanking out ones hair. I promise, totally painless. And it's not about removing every strand. It's about what people consider sexy. I personally like some on top, but short and of course the oral area shaved completely. This doesn't look like a little girl, but it is a hot and sexy look. And also hot to watch when he's pleasing you.
Just a matter of taste (no pun intended).

When it comes to the hair on my head, I shed like crazy. When it comes to the down-below hair... well.. not so much. I have to yank on that stuff for it to come out... and well OBVIOUSLY, I don't do that... you know.. because OW!
No perfume either... blech. | |

Posted: 6/25/2006 5:46:22 PM | | I guess it is a matter of what one prefers.I must say for myself,there is nothing hotter than a woman who is completely shaved and smooth..it has absolutely nothing to do with confusing her for a little girl..that my friends should be obvious.As for myself..I shave the areas that count as well..although I do have a hairy chest and have considered removing it..but I have not been with a lady yet that has not liked it..even women who have thought prior to not liking it..do! I just think women are supposed to be smooth and silky..smell amazing..and look like a woman.I have been with women who did not shave their private area's,but atleast took the time to trim it close..sorry the grandma bush went out many years ago(thank god) and I'm here to tell you guys as well..Women appreciate it when you are groomed downtown as well.JMO | |

NOPE, Not for me either, I use the good old razor. And that just has to be good enough.
No yanking for me. I hate pain. It's looks funny as hell in a comedy, but I'll stick with the razor. If there's a little stubble oh well. Plus I can usually do a pretty good job without all the fuss and pain. | |
