Posted: 7/14/2006 2:44:21 PM | I just got back home from the POF get together down in West Palm Beach. We had such a great time! I invited everyone to come to this party in Lakeland, too. Told them the fun is just moving over to the West Coast and is just going to get better and better! I think some of them are going to come!

Posted: 7/14/2006 7:03:39 PM | I'm thinking of coming to Lakeland tomorrow from Tampa. One of my hobbies is Handwriting Analysis -- I can read more about someone's personality from their handwriting than most of their best friends know. I've done this at conventions and it's the kind of thing that often leads to a long line of people waiting to get this done.
I'd be happy to offer this (for fun, of course, not as a service), if you folks want me to do so. Might be a great way for people to get to know each other better. (Plus, I also get to find out who I might like to get to know better as well!).
I'm usually accurate enough that a lot of people will accuse me of being psychic, which, to my knowledge, I'm not. :) It's fun. Might add some fun to the event.
Let me know your thoughts.

I personally don't think we need to have any type of "service" that the people have to pay for. After all, isn't this just a get together to have fun and meet people? If we start allowing "pay-for-services" no telling where that will end!
I think if you want to offer a service for entertainment, it ought to be because you want to (like what WhirledTraveler1 offered with the Handwriting Analysis). That's just my opinion only. | |

I'm not looking to charge at a POF gathering. I'm also not looking for a dog & pony show.
Just to clear that up. ;)

Looking forward to meeting many of you tonight. I was thinking that if there is a particular someone(s) that you would like to meet, it might be a good time to throw in a little interest like, "Hope you can make it tonight", "Looking forward to seeing you at Docs", "Hey baby, wanna get lucky? Be at Docs and meet the man/woman of your dreams" or "Pllleeaaassseee, please be at Docs tonight! I'm desperate to meet you!", whatever is your particular style, mood or degree of desperateness.  It just might make someone keep an extra eye out for you....whoa, wait a minute, that's kinda spooky! Well, you know what I mean! :)
