There are some VERY nice women.
There are some Jerkettes.
There are women who I met that we mutually agreed that "friends forever "was the way to go.
There are some Great women.
Last few were REALLY shallow.
The right combination (Her&Me) is out there some where --NOT necessarily on P.OF. | |

Finding someone for a life partner is, in an of itself, a job. *chuckle*
That I am smiling and laughing a lot more after reading the forums and my e-mail. Can't beat this one yet!! *grins*
I've also learned that there can be the odd rotten fishie in the pond and we just need to keep turfing them out with the trash. <--This is for all those guys who think that because I am up late it means that I am interested in some kind of sexual liason...FORGET IT BUDDY. Not happening.
All in all, a wonderful experience so far and I've recommended the site to a few of my single friends. *smiles*

You can meet people but you may not click. (I've only met two people through here. There are people here I know)
I'm beginning to learn that in the city (from small town NL) you really have to play the game. Oh, and to be famous all you have to do is start a blog. BLOG??? EMO??? I've learned so much.

To be humble.

and I learned there is alot of nice people here in the forums
I learned that just because someone doesnt like your picture it doesnt make them
shallow and I learned that there is someone for everyone if look long enough
I learned that just because someone is posing half naked- they can still post must not be looking for sex and I learned that you should never say you like sex-
I learned they just because they have a picture posted on Pof doesnt mean it has to look like them and I learned someone`s inner beauty can never be seen in a picture
I learned a lot of people on Pof like to read delete !and I learned some actually do respond and become friends

Before I get raked over the coals for that comment I must add that I have been pleasantly pleased when meeting someone for the first time. One man, in whom I had a lukewarm interest, turned out to be a very good friend. If I hadn't taken the chance and looked past my misgivings, we wouldn't be friends today.
To Paul W1967. Waiting for someone else to take that first step isn't always a good thing, especially since they may be doing the same thing - waiting for you to contact them. Come on...take a chance!
