1. Any brain from any animal
2. cow tongue
3. anything that is still moving
I grossed out this girl at work (who annoys me a wee bit) while a bunch of us were having dimsum for lunch last week.
We tricked her into trying beef tripe; afterwards I told her it was cow stomach... You should have seen the look on her face!!! Anyhow, I kept eating mine, exaggerating how much I was enjoying it....

Originally it was made entirely from the meaty parts of the head of a pig or calf, but now can include edible parts of the feet, tongue, and heart. The head is cleaned and simmered until the meat falls from the bones, and the liquid is a concentrated gelatinous broth. Strained, the meat is removed from the head, chopped, seasoned and returned to the broth and the whole placed in a mold and chilled until set, so it can be sliced

4. soft slimey chicken/poultry skin
5. drumsticks/ chicken legs
6. exsessively(sp?) fatty cuts of meat
7. head cheese HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT ever try it | |

Mushrooms
Fish eggs
Butter & margarine
Microwave "buttered" popcorn- the stench fills the whole house (and again when you nuke something else later)
All the other gross organ and offal from animals
Haggis
There are probably more, but those are the WORST! | |

Im Ameican Indian but I would be like that one chick who said she would starve. Thank goodness I was born after the covered wagons and what not. I would have been toast and thin. LOL | |

Posted: 6/29/2006 11:53:58 AM | Thought long and hard with that one - I grew up trying a lot of different foods. For example, I think I had tried escargot before I was 6 years old. I like most foods.
One thing I really can't stand though is any food that is too bland. I like different spices.
I can't eat Prarie Oysters(Bull's testicles) or anything like that though. Who ever came up with the idea of boiling a pair of bull's balls must have been really really really hungry. lol | |

Thank you for reminding me. Blue cheese, roquefort, and gorganzola. It...has...MOLD! WHY WOULD ANYONE EAT MOLDY CHEESE?! I don't care if it is the kind that won't kill you. It's still MOLDY! Did somebody crack open a wheel and say, "Gee, it's a little moldy, but it's still good?"
Bird nest soup. Who's the genius that came up with this one? I guess he was sitting around one day and said, "You know, twigs, mud, and birdsh*t might make a really good soup base."
Cockroaches. A delicacy in some parts of Mexico. I guess it goes good with salsa. Next time you eat a burritto with black beans, make sure they really are black beans.
Sheep's eye. Nomads in Mongolia offer it to visitors during a meal. It's an insult to them if you don't take it and eat it. Personally, I think they're just messing with us.
Grub worms. It's probably like eating shrimp, but I wouldn't want to find out even if it was sauted in butter and garlic. | |

those prairie oysters are also called rocky mountain oysters and oh brother, my dad tricked my mom into eating those once and she LOVED them and THEN he told her what they actually were...now those are grounds for seriously evil retaliation. | |

Best thing in the summer is white meats or fruits and/or salad. Something rehydrating. | |

Grits.......Northern folks eat grits with milk and sugar. YUK!
In the south we eat them with butter or cheese, they are so good!!
