Posted: 6/27/2006 10:23:14 AM | I think in actual fact that men are scared of real women. When they meet one they run away, because of the thinking that since real women don't exist, the person must be fake. Or maybe men just can't handle being with a real woman.
I happen to be one of those real women, but have been told I am too good to be true, and then the men run.
It has happened too many times where a guy thinks I am wonderful, and they can't believe they met someone like me, and they couldn't believe there was someone like me out there. Then then disappear without a word.
Go figure - the men who say they can't find a real woman, run when they are face to face with one. | |

Posted: 6/27/2006 10:28:04 PM | I agree with smiles, every guy I have dated has told me the same things. You are so wonderful and driven and you are just to good for me and blah blah blah. You say you want real women but then you meet one that is interested and genuinly cares and you guys just freak out. I have had several guys try to make me feel bad for them because they say I just make them feel like they aren't good enough?? Is this because I call them or answer the phone when they call, or maybe it's because I have ambition and morals. Who knows? I just figure that one day I will meet a guy that can deal with a strong independant woman who can think for herself. So there u go strong woman in a nutshell.

most of the guys who post who post "I'm a real man" and "I'm a nice guy" are obviously not the best looking, but society tells women especially to go for these guys, eventually, anyway. Society tells men its okay to be more shallow as that's whats expected. So is this why men do not look for good women? because they are all "ugly" and they want someone "sexy" instead? | |

There are as many female players as there are male players. And there are girls who get an ego boost at the idea of rejecting men who have genuine interest. You ladies ask that we get to know you on a personal level for who you are and not just on what catches our eye. Then please practice what you preach and give guys, who show a genuine interest, the time and location to meet and get to know you. Or else quit your complaining

Most men who complain about stuff like that just arent secure enough in their own masculinity to have a woman who actually has an opinion and can stand behind it... We get tired of the bullshit and wont put up with it anymore, and suddenly you think we are cold, hard, and trying to change men. hmm....
Some men have been able to keep a strong hold on their masculinity and, oh heavens! do they actually 'respect' women??? They dont mind if she has an opinion! good grief, he needs to turn in his man card NOW!
and you talk about not getting to watch a game on saturday and sunday because he has to rake leaves... um.. had he gotten the leaves raked BEFORE the game came on, then would it be an issue? Been comminicating with some men I am interested but I think they are not willing to meet in person. How could a woman show these guys that I am a real woman if they are not willing to meet in person. One have to meet in person before they could say they cant find the real woman. I dont look that great but my personlity will melt your heart One have to find out what kind of person I am , my attitude, behaviour and my kind heart.
