I fell in love that and broke up to that album that summer. Needless to say I didn't figure 11 years later I'd be reliving it.
What a Waste of Such a Good Album!

Just to See You Smile. Tim McGraw. I remember that one so clearly for all the good times.

| Any Songs remind you of an ex? Posted: 6/30/2006 7:15:50 PM | I think some ex's are meant to be missed..maybe to remind us that there are good ones out there
Hey taechee:
Good one, and ya hit the nail on the head.
Even though I have never been married before, so NO ex from this kid.
However, I TOTALLY agree that ex's ARE meant to be missed, that is why they are an ex, and are in the past.
There ARE good ones out there, as long as THEY, are NOT, carrying around their ex with them.
I just find that too, TOO many people still carry their ex around with them.
Give up the ex people, put them waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy behind you and leave them in the PAST where they BELONG so that you can move on, and find someone better, much, MUCH BETTER.
My 2 cents worth as well.
Sincerely GLBTH | |

Basically LIFE HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLAN THINGS, and maybe stuff happens that you have no control over, resulting in a relationship ending. Yes move on, life is not about living backwards, each minute takes us forward into new feelings, thoughts and relationships with people.
But to forget all that has made you today, no. Each relationship you learn something new, something different, sure some end poorly, but not all, and there is no reason to not hold onto the great memories and thoughts from a person you may have "loved". You felt emotions for them for a rason, and to deny that .....well you're telling yourself that YOU where wrong.
Embrace the past, for from it you learn how to shape your future.
Just my 1.3 cents ( American, exchange)

Course there are several others, Heaven by Brian Adams; Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf; Play with Me by the Thompson Twins; the list goes on and on.

| Any Songs remind you of an ex? Posted: 7/1/2006 11:12:00 PM | Good pointers draxxus69:
Yet, yes, IF, I did have an ex, good or bad experiences with, they got to GO.
What I mean by that, is that they NO LONGER exist in my minds eye, and heart even if they are still living.
However, I still expect them to go on without me.
I also would hope, that I don't exist in their minds eye, or heart even if I am still living.
And expect me to go on without them.
Cannot hold on to what could of, or should of happened, and try to move forward in life.
Because, it will ALWAYS be that ex('s) that you are thinking of, that will hold you back.
Further more, I beleive it is not fair to the new person to be in your life, to have to listen to talk about the ex, let alone think about them.
And I would expect the EXACT same thing from the new person, if she was in the same boat.
If either her or myself, or both of us can't let our ex's go, then time to say this, as much as we still love each other, it is time to permantly part, let each other, and the love we did have each other go. Putting each other permantly in the past.
Why?
Because it is not working out, we are not being fair to each other, by trying to stay together, while talking about each others ex's. So might as well make at least a happy ending for each other if it is not meant to be.
To each their own choices.
My 2 cents worth
Sincerely GLBTH | |
