It also has the address so you can either "mapquest" or "yahoo" it for a map. I will continually check to see how many people are coming and also if anyone wants to give me more of an idea if and how many people they are bringing, that would be great, then I can give the venue a "heads up" on a total. They are as excited about this as we are-how cool!! Thanks to all! | |

It looks like a good turn out so far! I lost my co-host Avilady to health issues but someone else has stepped in for her, so if anyone else wants to just pitch in, that would be great-not sure if we'll need your help or not, but it would be nice if we did. I have to touch base with the catering director at the venue about how many estimated people are coming, so I will have a new post by tomorrow afternoon-stay close!
Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I know, I know . . name tags. Oh well, it's only to identify us to begin with. LOL!! It shouldn't be too bad and you can take it off later. At the beginning it's just so we know who's who! But we pretty much have the whole place. Check back later on for an update to the main thread (the beginning) for an update on the location: food, drink prices, DJ/music, host(ess)'s, where to check in, etc. It's gonna be GREAT!!

Posted: 7/13/2006 9:42:22 PM | WOW!! May I be the first to say, what a super event this was!! A great turnout of approx 60-70 people, at least 3 hours of lively conversations, good drinks & foodies, and the absolute joy of making new acquaintences, interesting friends, and ?? (  )
No amount of praise would be too much, for the job Kim (KCF561) did as the architect, organizer, & hostess of this festive gathering. She's worked tirelessly for the last 10 days to insure this event was going to happen. She was just perfect, wearing many hats & keeping things at such a comfortable level for all of us. Kudos as well to Maria (Greatleggs), for her assistance in getting the arriving guests 'labled' and welcomed.
I hope those of you who missed it this time, will make plans for the next affair. I don't believe you will find a better venue for meeting a great group of people & have the advantage of possibly finding THERE, what we're all HERE for in the first place!

Posted: 7/14/2006 10:38:39 AM | Yesterday's event was a-okay!! Great job, Kim, for getting us all together. There were very nice men AND women to talk to. I finally figured out (luck) how to get my photo up so I hope that helps me meet more eligible men. If there are any women 50ish that like to socialize would you please contact me, as I am looking to make new friends as well as meet Mr. Right. Prefer South Palm Beach County as it's closer to me. Does anyone like to play Scrabble out there? Hope everyone has a great weekend and I look forward to the next time we meet. Thanks again!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for such a great POF get together!! You did a wonderful job of planning it! Was it worth the 4 1/2 hour drive down to meet these wonderful Fishes? Without a doubt........YES it was! For those of you that decided not to show up......all I can say is.........you missed out! Well it sounds like your party was a big hit and that you are a pro at these. I looked at some of the pictures and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time. You really take wonderful pictures. Wish I had lived closer. The reason I am contacting you is that we are having something for the people here in Tampa. This is the first time I am getting involved with something like this. I use to help with things when I worked for the government, so I know there is alot of work, but its worth the fun. And I wanted to find out where you got the cool fish name tags, I really liked that idea. So if you can give out your top secret on the name tags? I would love to get the info. I guess you can get the info to me thru the thread on the Tampa party.
