yup, what do you find beautiful?, just those moments when your children tell you, you just might be to old, to play their games...everything else, seems so trivial.....

Posted: 7/5/2007 10:27:46 PM | My 2 year old nephew getting on the phone and saying "auntie love you home yet?" and knowing he's looking at the phone for an answer. Just the pure innocence in his voice gets me every time.
Or when I watched my kitten attack imaginery bugs just before she died. The absolute joy on her face as she pounced on things that only she could see.
Between the little ones, animal and humans, so much beauty in their lives for things like that. | |

You make a good point pigwig.
The moderators, only three in number, are volunteers and give of their free time to perform a task unappreciated by many.
Imagine what a snake pit the forums might be if not for the moderators. | |

Posted: 12/9/2008 10:02:18 AM | Recently I was helping my mom with a gala event her company was putting on (Givenchy Perfume) I was doing some demonstrating when this young girl came up and asked me about one of our products and asked if she purchased it did it come with the free gift....I apologized and said, NO. Then her mom looked t me and said she is thinking about what to spend her Christams money on.... I turned to her and said I would make an exception and tossed in the free gift and also went back behind the counter to get her more samples and christmas extras for free...you should have see her smile. I then went back to my post, a few minutes later after she paid for items she and her sister came up to me and gave to sweetest hug I have recieved in a very long time...it brought a tear to my eye.....THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL TO ME.
Its sometimes the simpliest things we do that adds so much joy to our lives...this young girl had no idea how she made me feel that day and that I would be writing about it in a public forum. Her parents are doing something right! | |
