To watch his fingers move around that guitar like it is part of his body and to know that this is something he has enjoyed doing for so many years. It is very sexy. It's one thing to watch this on stage, it's been practiced and has been worked to sound good with others...it's even better and more sexy when you are hearing the soft sounds and silly compilations right in your living room. | |

Posted: 1/24/2007 10:43:11 AM | | I've seen a lot of bands in very small venues where I'm very close to the stage and I must say I USED to have a thing for guitarists, but then they always get all of the attention (and the lead singer) so I moved my preference to bass players and drummers. It helps that I used to REALLY fancy the drummer in a Canadian band that I saw in concert like 12 times! It seems the drummers and bass players were a bit neglected, and that was appealing? I have no idea....but playing an instrument is sexy, maybe b/c I have lost the ability to (it's been like 11 years since high school flute!). | |

Posted: 2/15/2007 2:07:54 PM | lol youve got it all wrong mait, a good friend of mine from greenland happens to be really good bass player, only because he gave up on the guitar, but its usually the singer who gets too much attention, after that its the guitarplayer, but the drummer and bass is like you say highly underestimated, my credit goes to the drummer its more complex than people think, i know its alot harder to be a good guitarrist than a good bassplayer, what about gene simmons? not exactly a good bass player but he gets all the chicks, beats me

I love guitarists! When a guy sits down and plays for me it's like an instant turn on. If they write their own music/lyrics its even better. It shows that they are patient and creative and emotional. I have a good number of guy friends that play guitar, and it took me a while to get over the instant attraction to them because of the guitar to just be friends with them. | |
