| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 10/26/2005 3:39:29 PM | Thank you HarelyKat;
I'm trying real hard to show my sweet side.....lol , depending on the forum. The pictue is Trinity from The Matrix. A friend of mine made some changes to it, I can't even remember what the original looked like. Damn, I wish that was my pic... my pics are tucked away on my profile... Sometimes I give Trinity a rest and post one of mine.

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 10/26/2005 4:13:06 PM | | My worst breakoff didn't even come with a breakoff line...no lame excuse; no reason at all. He just walked out, without warning, without a word. It’s very difficult to find closure when someone leaves you like that. It makes closure very difficult, it's like trying to close a door, but you can't find the door. | |

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 10/26/2005 4:30:15 PM | Long long ago when I was the kind of guy that would let this happen to me...
First time she dumped me (a few weeks into relationship): "you are going away for a month, and I don't think I should tie YOU down while you are there" For Gods sake, it was KY...one state south.
Second time (many monthes): "I know you think you love me, but you do not have as strong of feeling for me as I have for you"
Third time (few days later): "I cannot believe you only bought me flowers for my birthday, we've been dating almost a year. You should learn to show someone you want to spend your life with that you love them" I was just starting to get it at this point, so my view was, what do you get a girl you've been dating for three days.
Fourth time (couple monthes later): "my mother still thinks I'm a virgin and it makes me not able to look you in the eye."
Fifth time (couple more monthes): "I love you so much, and I know you love me, but I can't handle this on again off again relationship. We need to take a break until we grow up some."
And a good laugh for another time are the things she said when she wanted me back every time.
Odd thing is, I'd go out with her today... She went crazy for a weekend every now and then... All the rest of our time together makes up the best relationship of my life... gotta take the bad with the good I guess.

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 10/27/2005 9:58:25 AM | | "I don't mean to break your heart or hurt your feelings but I am going back to my ex...". All I know is that I should've known. The clues were there especially when he first started talking about her. I love when a guy decides to go back to his ex and he starts complaining about her off the bat. You know that there is trouble brewing but it's not my problem. You move on! | |

First of all Katherine...I gotta say, if that is the Matrix pic...you have a twin!! I even looked at your other photos...the details in your face...and was sure it was you!! Cool!
I had one of these break ups you described. It sucked!! Definitely for the reasons you stated...lack of closure! The twins dad did this...was like a friggin' movie scene! The twins and I were away at scout camp for two weeks...he and I talked every day by phone...last call ended with the "I love you" and him talking about who all he took to a concert that I had won free tickets for a large group for. When I got home...already exhausted from two weeks of roughing it and being a unit leader of 32 younguns....no sign of him...yet no sign he left, until I saw the empty hangers swaying in the closet! To this day (8 years later!!), I STILL don't know WHY he left...cowardice I am guessing...and his KIDS never see him! I tell you...I lost 32 pounds in the first two weeks he was gone...the stress, not eating, throwing up anything that went in! NOW...I realize it was the best thing...but man, would love to get that final closure!

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 10/27/2005 4:08:42 PM | HarleyKat; I can relate. The breakup I was referring to was my ex husband. We were married 27 years. He was working in N.C. during the week and came home on weekends. One Monday morning he gave me a kiss goodbye and said, I'll see you Friday. On Friday I received a letter from his lawyer saying that we were legally seperated. I don't think I ate for about 6 weeks, I lived on coffee and oranges. I had problems sleeping for well over a year. I know exactly where you have been!!! I was the one who had to tell our sons that he was gone, and I couldn't even give them a reason. I eventually spoke to him, but I had to force him to see me. I took me about 5 years to get closure. Today, I'm very glad he is not a part of my life. My sons' saw how difficult it was on me, and it was difficult on them. I told them, "if you ever want to leave a gf, or wife, be a man, don't run away without a word, it's not fair. | |

I would not have been so callous so as to use that, but it would be interesting to see the bruises on someone who did??

| I think we should be just friends? Posted: 11/7/2005 1:49:09 PM | About 11 years ago, an ex asked me, "Do you think we'll ever break up?"
I simply said, "Yes." And adios! She went away.

| I think we should be just friends? Posted: 11/7/2005 3:35:08 PM | | The funniest I have experienced is the guy writing me an email pretending he was his friend telling me that he had a heart attack and died. I checked it out....he did not die...he was married....and alive......or at least was............uh hmmm. | |

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 11/7/2005 3:38:59 PM | Harleykat.... Had that happen to me also.....the empty hangers swaying in the closet without an explanation ever. It's a bad feeling....I know. | |

| Whats the worst breakoff line you've heard? Posted: 11/7/2005 7:16:37 PM | "I've been in a romantic relationship for my entire adult life, and I need space to discover who I am and who I will become." This was said by a 36 year old woman.
One of my exs initiated a divorce after her husband admitted to her that he was gay and had been cheating on her for months.
